The principal and asst. principals need to respond to e-mails and take charge. Also, they need to get some teachers in there that can teach.

Avon High School is a fantastic school, however, some of the schools teachers are BELOW AVERAGE in their ability to teach. The principle also needs to get more involved in the schools activities and be more aware of the students needs.

They don't want a failure in the Avon school system because it'll look bad for them. They don't care about these students, only their statistics.

I'm very happy with Avon H.S. I have two boys there, one who has special needs. The educators are interested and involved (for the most part). Academics are stressed and hard work rewarded. The music program is outstanding! There is a wealth of opportunity for school involvement for the kids. It's a little difficult to get into advanced courses, you must have a high GPA, an A in the subject and teacher recommendation. There's a good mix of students and I feel my kids are safe at this school.

Interesting idea. I'd just want to make sure the students are held to the same standards as regular school kids--including grades, and school time. If a kid can practice all day long, it hardly seems fair he take a spot from a regular student.
