I am very happy with the small student teacher ratio at Alta Vista. The school provides excellent caring instruction for an inexpensive price. The staff really care about and are committed to each students success. They are excellent at handling challenging teen-agers.

My child had some problems with the way the public school teaches and he has really succeeded at Alta Vista . I really love the teachers and think my child would have been one of the many who drop out because the public schools don't think out side the box . Thank you Alta Vista

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
