Carver Elementary is an exceptional school. Both of my children attended Carver for a combined total of five years. Mrs. Henry is an incredible principal. She is the jewel of Carver. The teachers show a 'whatever-it-takes' attitude to help the children reach academic goals. The kindergarden team is particularly outstanding. The PE coaches always plan a variety of pertinent activities that the children enjoy. Some teachers use their planning time to read with children or mentor them. This has been a terrific start for my children's education!

We absolutely loved Carver Elementary! Our daughter attended Carver for three years (Kindergarten, 1st grade, & 2nd grade). The teachers were exceptional! Our daughter loved school and enjoyed all the extracurricular activies that Carver provided. The coaches were great, too. Fantastic school! We are grateful for the academic challenges that our daughter's teachers provided and for the nuturing and encouraging environment of Carver. We will miss being at Carver very much.

Carver is a 'great school' in every respect, especially in the way they make me feel like my child is really special and loved, like he is their very own. The quality of academics is top notch and extracurricular activities are plentiful. Parent involvement is greatly encouraged.

This school is a great school! Very organized and safe! The new principal is wonderful and very open and responsive. Easy to work with and safety conscience. We are very pleased.

I go in every Monday and help with the Kindergarten reading group or play word games. Then I eat lunch with my child. I also attend and bring things to all school parties. Since I volunteer only on Mondays I do not burn out. : )

Our school gives us mandatory hours (15) that we must give to the school in one way or the other. It is very easy if you don't mind stuffing envelopes or being a lunch mom. I think they even give working moms the opportunities to work on paperwork.... More »
