My son was not given the attention and proper tutoring that he needed due to being 'gifted', but lacking the drive and enthusiam to be allowed into the gifted and talented program. He fell through the cracks. Even his 1st grade teacher said he was 'bored' and too bright for her class, and that she felt bad because she could not take time to give him the challenges he needed. Homeschool has been much better.

I Love the great interaction from everyone I've come in contact with! My 6 year old in first grade has an excellent teacher : Mrs. Collins and is doing so much better than we thought! This school really has changed our thoughts of public schools!

I have one in pre-k and one in the 1st grade. They love their teachers and school. principle Bryce is a genuinely lovin g and caring leader. he knows my children by name. he even entertained them while I was enrolling them. not just this year but last year as well. props to you all for a great job of taking care of our kids.

We moved in from another district that we were not satisfied with and it was like coming home to family. Our 2 children are now in 4th and 5th grades and are excellent, well-rounded students due to there introduction into one of the finest schools in the Gladewater ISD. Mickey Bryce is a wonderful principle and caring 'father' for all of his students. Our son will go on to do great things just from having Mr. Bryce is 'his corner' for the 6 months he was there. Way to go--Gay Avenue.

Our six-grader Daughter, enjoys the freedom of choice. We allow her to pick and choose as she makes good choices, she has demonstrated responsibility in her decisions. Making (Pizza) & Tomatoes) are Vegetables came from USDA. Freedom of Choice.

No. I prepare my son's lunch just about every day due to his special needs so I know what he is consuming both for him and his class. I want to be aware of all ingredients in all foods/drinks which he is consuming.

If it is to keep allergic kids safe, then no. A strict rule of no peanuts or pb&j should be enough. My child's school had a peanut free table for double insurance. If for "nutritional" reasons, then NO! Since when is pizza a veggie????... More »
