Boynton is a wonderful school. I have an autistic son and we moved to Ringgold just so he could attend Boynton. He has done very well there. My daughter attended regular 5th grade at Boynton as well and had a great time. The faculty and staff at the school are caring folks and we are deeply grateful for everything they've done for our children.

We moved our son from a private school to Boynton because of the cost. I have been pleased with the overall education he has received. Also, the environment at the school is very friendly and informal. However, I am disappointed that there is no art or Spanish instruction. This is not the fault of the school though...just lack of funding. When the kids have "computer lab" they do nothing more than play games on the internet. Not a great use of time for sure. I am also very frustrated that they allow the kids to purchase ice cream for snack EVERY afternoon. Sure, the parents can just not give them $, but sometimes they borrow it from friends without our knowledge. They should only offer healthy snacks on a daily basis and sweet treats every once in awhile. So much for trying to curb the childhood obesity epidemic. Despite these issues, I am pleased OVERALL with our experience at Boynton, especially considering we are saving thousands of $$$ a year by not sending our son to a private school. I do miss the private school environment though, especially the focus on character education and Christian values. However, Boynton is definitely one of the best public schools in the area.

The teachers and staff are the greatest!! I have an autistic son that I never thought would talk, and since he has been there-over a year now-he knows his ABC's and numbers to 20, he can write his name, and he is speaking some words for us now. That is the greatest gift that anyone could've ever given me...I can't say enough good things about this school!!!

My grandson began Boynton school December 1,2005. I had been very concerned because he not only was beginning a new school he was also living with us in a new town away from his mother and sisters. The teachers and staff at Boynton made his transition easy for him and us. The experience that we have had at Boynton has been remarkable.I would recommend this school to anyone who has a child with special needs. They teach much more than just the curriculum they also teach children to respect, and to be kind and courteous to one another. We could not have asked for better teachers for our grandson. He has excelled academically as well as physically and emotionally because of the wonderful guidance of the great teachers and staff at Boynton.
