I went there for 7th grade and im going back for 8th it was ok the teachers are fun but it does get boring there is no challange if ur in an average class advanced math 7-8 in 7th was callangeing though. over all crappy food(average),cool teachers( great) super small school witch means halls are crowded (bad) so i average it 2 be ok = )

Swope seems headed in the right direction. The inherent issue with middle school is that it can become a waiting room for a lot of kids who are undergoing the most awkward and uncomfortable growing transitions in their lives. Against this challenge, Swope staff and parents are doing their best to direct kids towards the positive and to encourage a healthy learning environment and sense of community. As with all schools, the staff makes all the difference in the world. Overall we're finding that the majority of teachers are qualified and relate well to the kids. This isn't true in all cases, but compared to when my other child attended a few years ago, it has improved a lot.
