Great school! It's small enough that my kids get help when they need, but big enough to give them lots of choices. The teachers are wonderful and really care about the kids. The cost is very reasonable, considering they are getting an excellent education based on the values we are also teaching at home. I highly recommend this school!

I love this school. I have alot of friends, and everyone is so nice there. You can see charaterictics of God in the hallways, from helping one another, to helping other people up. This is a great school. If you are looking for schools this is the one to come to.

I love this school! it has a great Principle and great teachers. You learn a lot of things about God and education. Salem prepares you very well for college. It has a very wide variety of Extracurricular activities and has a very high achievment rating. Salem has a great environment and it doesn't cost a whole lot of money.

Both of my children graduated from SCS and went on to graduate from 4 - year universities. My daughter became an elementary teacher and taught at the school for several years. My son has a degree in Air Science, has all his commercial flight certifications and is a missionary. We have known most of the graduates over the last 20 years. Many have completed higher education courses and have become successful engineers, teachers, nurses, Christian camp directors, business professionals, etc. The secondary school has a great sports program, a drama team, a great music program including choir, handbells, a worship team, and musical instrument instruction; a professional puppet team, and a great fine arts program. The school has a state of the art computer lab. There is science instruction through high school physics; math instruction including calculus, trigonometry and geometry; 4 years of Spanish instruction. The English program includes grammar, literature and creative writing. Pennsylvania and various other History courses are taught. There are also Bible and Christian living classes and a K 12 physical education program. The elementary school has an individual classroom and teacher for each grade. Tuition is reasonable. Area school districts provide transportation.

No. I have heard of teachers setting up FB pages on areas of study so students can use technology as a learning tool. All posts are public and private messages are disabled. I won't even friend former students. I do it as a rule-no hurt feelings.

No! As an educator, I don't want to be held responsible for what students are doing outside of the classroom.

Absolutely not. Most schools offer the homework question site through the school system. They do not need to be "friends" with their students through social networking sites.
