Wilmington High School

Both of my daughters were and currently are enrolled at Wilmington High School. I feel that the science department is lacking in teaching the children what they need to know. I think that the books need updating and I also feel that the teachers need a little working on as well. One teacher for example does not teach well at all . She is still using the same techniques she used on me when I went to high school there.

the teachers are great but the curriculum is outdated and the course possibilities are slim to none.

Wilmington is a city that takes pride in its schools and their acheivements. Wilmington High School has all of them! Whether it be in sports, academics, or musicals! The teachers at Wilmington are some of the best, although the kids may not think so until they graduate. Once you are in college you realize exactly how much you took for granted how great of teachers you had in this high school! Graduation percentages continue to increase as well as the percentages that go off to college. With that, the foundation for excellence gives away more and more money in scholarships! Wilmington is a great place to raise your children. You don't have to worry about crime and you can bet they are getting a quality education.

Wilmington High School is a great school for today's kids to attend. Not only does it provide great teachers and faculty, but it is also located in a safe community. I plan on living in Wilmington for the rest of my life, and you can bet all of my children will attend Wilmington High School!
