The Hebrew Academy has gone through many changes to evolve into a top class educational institution in Las Vegas, now with a brand new facility including indoor pool, sports facilities, a top class secular education and everything a school could offer at its best. Very impressed mom
My daughter attended the preschool for 2 years. Her teachers were warm and caring, however I must echo the unorganized comment. Letters (to administration and others) are not responded to or acknowledged in any way. I was never quite sure who was who or who was responsible for what. Parents are very involved, however if you are not Israeli or speak fluent Hebrew or wear the latest designer jeans/accessories, you are ignored by them (the other parents and, at times, the other teachers). On the other hand, very strong religious education if that's what you are into.
The Hebrew Academy has become a superb educational institution. Students, faculty, and administration are positive, accepting, and enthusiastic about learning. In every way possible, the students come first!
I attended the Hebrew Academy many years ago and I was treated very unfairly. I was at the top of my class but I never received the honor roll because I was 'too rowdy', even though I was probably the quietest student in the room. The quality of education was good from the teachers who were unbiased...all three of them.
