Carriage House has been a wonderful place for our two girls. They have developed high confidence in themselves and learned to swim well as a result of attending this school and the summer program. I recommend this school often to people I know who aare looking for dacare for their children.
My son was at CH for almost 5 years. He was a very happy boy the whole time, which made me happy and without worry while I was at work. His gentle nature and individuality was nurtured and respected. He flourished in their care and misses them now that he is in first grade.
My son is 2 1/2 & has been at CHDC since he was 13 mos. They're the only ones I would trust with my child. He has unbelievable speech, comprehension & I am amazed how much he learns on a daily basis. My older 2 children were CHDC kids for 7 yrs. My daughter is 15 & honors & my son is 2nd honors & I have Miss Marion, Tammy & the staff of CHDC & all the years of great dedicated care & love they have given to all the kids. My wife and I switched day care providers back in September 2006 because the staff at her previous school said that she needed a 'special environment' because of her occasional and random biting. Several of my colleagues had children that attended CDHC and spoke very highly of the school. We have been just as pleased. Since beginning at CDHC, our daughter has not only been challenged academically, but has been loved and cared for in a safe and supportive environment. In our three years with CDHC, we have not seen any of the concerns raised in previous reviews. Having said that, as Director of a school in Providence, I would offer the same advice I would give any parent considering sending their child to our school - spend some time observing and speak to parents at the school. I'm confident you'll be pleased with what you see and hear.
