My older son went to Springfield High but my younger son goes to Lutheran. Both are good schools however Lutheran is better for the quiet kid who would get lost and overlooked at a larger school. Also, I found that the teachers are wonderful and are willing to help and do what it takes so every kid learns. The kids are polite.

As an alumuni and a parent of a current student, I would highly recommend this school for a christ centered education with caring faculty

I am currently a student at Lu-Hi, and I absolutely love it. The faculty and staff are very personable, and willing to help any student that is struggling. My peers are wonderful. The one thing that sticks out at this school compared to other schools I have attended is that it is not 'clique-y' like many high schools are. People are widely accepted for who they are.

Our daughter attended LHS for four years. The caring atmosphere is one of the things that really comes to mind first. The quality of courses offered prepared her well for college, especially the writing and reports that were part of many courses. There is an undercurrent of self disipline and planning that is taught by example also. Students have a wide variety of extraciricular activities to choose from and are encouraged by staff and other students to join in. I was constantly amazed that my daughter and her friends had time to do any school work with all the things they were involved in. The best tesimonial I guess is that my second daughter is now attending, and is blooming in the LHS environment.
