Coronado High offers an excellent learning enviornment for its students. The teachers show sincere interest in their students and are always more than willing to help before or after school. The administration is constantly ensuring the well being of their students. Coronado High offers enough extracirricular activities for everyone to enjoy, from sports to performing and visual arts to on campus clubs that offer volunteer oportunities. Of all the knowlege and information I've learned at Coronado High, the greatest was how to think. Definitely the best school in San Diego!
too many drugs and too much bulling that is related to the haves and the have-nots. Schoole administrator and Board intervention on this issue is not evident. Very elitist environment and way too much freedom and too little parental supervision. High degree of alcohol abuse and in-calssroom use of drugs. Too much emphasis on image not substance
Outstanding school in all areas. Caring teachers and administration, high standards, excellent and varied teaching styles and class offerings. Perfect size, beautiful location and facilities, top-notch extracurricular and sports opportunities, numerous awards and commendations. Without question, one of the best high schools in California.
This is a great school that teaches the students very well. Most of the students learn from the teachers and get high scores on the end of the year tests. The only thing I have to say is bad aboutthis school is the amount of homework given to each student every night. The teachers give too much homework to the students, and they give too myany test and quizes throughout the WEEK! The teachers at CHS definitally want their students to do good, but sometimes they need to give out less homework and quizes.
