As a parent of special education children, the regional is really underperforming. More innovative ideas and 'thinking outside the box' needs to be done to meet the needs of even moderately disabled children. The school does a good job at servicing children with 'cognitive ceilings,' but needs to significantly boost its reading program and services, particularly at the grade school level. All teachers need to be better trained regarding disabilities, particularly at the high school level. Resources are tight and squeaky wheels tend to get the grease...

The quality of the high school education has slipped over the past 5 years. Extracuricular activities and sports 'user fees' limit and/or exclude involvement. I would suggest to those unfamiliar with the area to visit Middlesex County Towns and Schools.

Having grown up in the same house I am raising my kids in, and attending the same schools and having some of the same teachers as my three children has been wonderful. I can not imagine how difficult our lives would be if we had to live somewhere else. I can't say enough about the compassion, kindness, and discretion I have been witness to for the past ten yrs. I have a sophmore, and eighth grader, and a sixth grader this year, and I love this school system. thank you
