My son is going into the 11th grade at CCHS and he really enjoys teh school. I have had no problems to deal with, but I have contacted his teachers and principal on a few occasion and they were more than willing to assist me. I couldn't ask for a better learning environment for my son and I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
Clay Chalkville in my opinion is a great school. besides the lack of discipline the school has a great choir ,and band ,teachers are the top in the state, and parents are very involved. But if I could change some things they would be more stricter teachers and administrators and to keep a close eye on drugs coming into the school but other than that i would really recommend this school for your student

I went to Clay-Chalkville High School after being out of public schools for eight years. It only took a few weeks there for me to realize that I was lucky to go to one of the best schools in the state. I think the administration does a fantastic job dealing the upwards of 1300 kids each year, especially considereing the fact that there are only four of them. I think the problem with the other students who have posted hateful messages on here is that they think the school is supposed to be babying them when really, at any school, you have to care about your own future and education. I was not an athlete or a wealthy Clay resident and I am an honors student at Auburn University now. IF your child in willing to make some effort in their own education, they will be fine at Clay.
