My experience at this school was not a positive one. The elementary principal disregarded parental concerns related to the treatment of students by teachers. Small town is peaceful but keep in mind that it's very difficult to fit in in a small town unless you are born and raised there. On the upside, there are some good teachers at the school who care about the students as children and not just as learners. It takes a lot more than the ability to instruct to be a good teacher.

This is a wonderful, loving close knit school. The parents and teachers have the childrens best interest at heart. Strong values and morals are the foundation of this school and community, of which I am proud to be a part of.

I would give Sebastopol 5 stars. It is a small community with a big heart. Religion is very important here. The high school is the pride of the town and the graduation rate is 97%. WE love our town and community!!!

Both the High School and Elementary Principals encourage Parent involvement in school activities. We now have a new Tech Prep building which helps the kids figure out what they want to do when they graduate from school. Sebastopol is not a very big school and I think that makes it work better for the students because the teachers have more time to work with each student, but as with any other school some teachers are more inclined to work with students than others. Over all I think Sebastopol is a very good school for kids because it doesn't have alot of violence like some other schools do. The kids and parents both feel safe at Sebastopol and that means alot towards a childs education.
