Our school is still struggling with trust in leadership but as parents we are trying to support in any way we can. We have amazing teachers! About Sept. 2nd's comment...a parent would not know if we failed or not because the district is posting scores at the end of Sept. Where is the trust? It's gone!

Great school! The school had been labled a failing school but the current administration, which has taken a lot of heat, now has the school off of the failing list. The 'program' is obviously working. Many parents find change difficult but that does not mean change is wrong.

The current administration stifles learning and has no disciplinary skill. This is creating a dangerous environment. Poor leadership creates poor schools. There are great teachers here who are not allowed to use their creativity to teach and adapt the learning to each student. At all costs, stick to 'the program'. This is obviously not working.

I student taught and substituted here. It is a wonderful school. The principal is great and the teachers are very experienced and dedicated. Their focus is always the children and they have wonderful reading programs.

Teachers who are firm, tough, yet fair, are mislabeled as, "bullies." This is such a ridiculous and false accusation. I got a tough job but I love my job and I care about the students. People don't have a clue what I do or the challenges... More »

How I handled it varied depending on the circumstances. Teacher bullying is child abuse-proove it 1st! If teacher/pricipal/staff won't stop-go above their heads-Seek help from PTO's,administration, schoolboard, media, even CPS-Child Protective Services.

No one should put up with this. Take it as high as you need to go and follow up everything in writing. Even so far as going to your local paper. School A tolerates bullying and won't help children being victimized. They will listen after that!
