BISD is an excellent school with caring teachers, administrators and staff. Students that have not done well in other districts thrive here because of the concern their teachers and principal have for their success. The school enjoys watching its students succeed while they are in school and even after they graduate. BISD opens many doors for its students to participate in extracurricular activities and the dual-credit program. The school does everything it can to give students a jump start on a great future that students elsewhere do not receive. Take a walk through a Brookeland hallway and you'll find smiling, happy students that are learning not only their academic curriculum but how to be great citizens in the future. Brookeland is one of those truly great schools that are all but impossible to find these days.
Brookeland ISD has given my children a chance to learn and grow in ways that another local school district never did. This school is more concerned about learning than sports.....and in real life it is the education that matters the most!
This school has opened opportunites for me, which I thought I could never achieve and I just wanted to say thank you. If you are considering a school for your children I strongly suggest Brookeland High school. Come join us!
The school and its staff gave me a great start to my future. Small does not always mean small, it sometimes means large. The nursing of young roots makes for a strong tree with many healthy branches in years to come. I would like to thank my teachers for their time, caring, and long hours. Thanks for everything.
