My older son graduated Summit this past May 06'... and my younger son is a freshman this yr. Honestly, we love it! Throughout the past years, when my older son attended, our experience was always a positive one. He was blessed w/ excellent & caring teachers... and the principal is super! Honestly, when we originally purchased our home in the MISD and we found out Summit was our home school, I was bombarded w/ different opinions(some good, some bad) as to what we should expect from Summit. Let me tell you... PLEASE do not believe speculation, rumors or gossip about this school. After experiencing Summit ourselves, I can now tell you... it's a wonderful school w/ a great staff, but most importantly, a super atmosphere for your child. I hope you enjoy Summit as much as we have in the past and as much as we will in the future.

Currently being a student at Summit High School, I have to say I'm real disappointed with it. I had to learn the hard way that this school is not the type of school you should send your child to. A few of the teachers I've had really did help me out, while a few others was completely opposite. I can't say that I'm impressed, I'm just completely disappointed with the quality with this school. The couselor I have really is helpful and she did help me out with a few of the problems I've been having. But, my assistant princible is a completely different matter. He completely ignored my request to see him. All in all, this school isn't one to go to.
