South Middle School

We are new to this school and recently moved from NY. The kids seem very happy, which makes my husband and I extremely happy! We attended the first Parent/Teacher conferences and were very pleased.

I enjoyed studying in South MS. It was so much fun. The teachers and the principal were all caring. They were really nice and good people. I had a lot of friends too.

South Middle School has an excellent staff both administrative and teachers.Both of my children are in 8th grade and have done well in this school. The teachers are caring and will help the students in any way that they can. The level of parent involvement could be better. They have a good music program and athletic program for the students.

I found the staff to be caring and very professional from teachers and administration. I was very impressed by the fact that this school tried very hard to keep discipline measures intact and was very good at talking with the parents. My children never had discipline problems but one had academic problems and this school was very helpful in 7th and 8th grades. I felt the teachers went above and beyond their duties. My other child had no academic problems and I felt the education he acquired here helped tremendously with his transition to High School.
