I love that my children attend such a wonderful school. It is a combination of all that we were looking for in a school with Christian values and high academic standards. The graduates I know are excelling in college and beyond. The tuition is reasonable, the campus is beautiful and growing, there are a variety of activities, and a diverse international population. I would highly suggest that you chech it out if you are in the Spartanburg area!

Oakbrook looks wonderful on the surface, but after a few years, you begin to realize how directionless the students, especially the graduates, are. Most end up at community college, "intending" to transfer to a better school, but it rarely happens. Outside of a few Clemson students, most end up at USC Upstate or Spartanburg Community College. For the amount of money that I paid for my child to have a private school education, I had no intention on having them end up at a community college, only to flunk out because they had not learned how to take school seriously.

Ask where the graduating class is going to college. As of graduation most do not know what they plan to do.

This school is amazing. The curriculum is highly challenging and children learn about God. It's amazing they accomplish so much with such a reasonable tuition. Much of what children become as adults is affected by who they spend time. The children and teachers at Oakbrook are amazing.

Excellent school with a very friendly atmosphere. The teachers want their students to excel. It's a small school that's very family orenited. Parents are very involved. I think that they will continue to grow and get better.

Our children have thrived at Oakbrook for many years. They have grown physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually. We appreciate the high academic standards in the Christian atmosphere. The teachers not only teach, but they love and pray for their students. They encourage students to express their ideas. We have found the Charlotte Mason philosophy to be an excellent educational approach. Our children have an outlet for their talents at Oakbrook--academically, dramatically and sportswise. Our family has been very blessed by OPS and we highly recommend this school to other families.

I believe no school is a perfect fit for all students. This is an excellent school for those that like the traditional desk/uniform accelerate format of learning. We liked the teachers and the fabulous facility but found a school that was more holistic hands on to be a better fit for our family.
