There are several members of the staff at this school that is nonwelcoming to the parents. This includes the principal. The newsletters from the school are always asking for you to support your children, but actions speak louder than printed words. The children need to be supported & encouraged from parents & staff upon entering through the doors of the school.Without a welcoming atmosphere when you enter the school, parents will not feel that they can support their children 100%.They have to be wanted in the school first. Are the teachers & the principal hiding something? If your proud of something, wouldn't you want to show it off? You tend to avoid situations or interaction if you've done something wrong or if your not proud of it.If you a want a school where you can be involved & where you are welcome, you had better choose another one for your child.

Rogers Creek School is so caring to our community and is so involved with helping children that are less fortunate. A small environment with very loving people. I could not ask for a better school to send my children!

My only son started kindergarten last year and I could not have picked a better school. Everyone made us feel so welcome. The teachers are superb. It is like one big, happy family! Rogers Creek may be a small school, but they make up for it!

My children have attended R.C. for many years, and I am concerned that they are being denied critical childhood experiences! R.C. is one of the smaller schools in this county, however clubs, after school activities, and community involvement are almost none existant. The after school basketball and football programs are barely hanging on, due to the lack of participation from school staff and administrators, it has been a constant struggle to maintain practices, games, and other events w/o use of the school. Beta club only started back up this year, however it seems that there won't be much to look forward to, since Beta club isn't allowed to host any after school activities. (dances, fundraisers, events) Also, PTO, what a joke! The parents aren't informed of meetings, or allowed to have any input! Come on R.C. staff, and parents, lets get involved with our kids before and after school!!!

I changed to this school when it opened near my house, and it was the greatest thing my parents could have done for me. My experience there was wonderful and I hope that one day I can send my children to this school. It's been many years since I was there, but from everything that I have heard, the school has only gotten better since my time there.

I have three children two of my children had attended other schools before entering rogers creek my children always enjoyed school and always made good grades. my youngest child started school at rogers creek and doesn't seem to care for school at all. I am told by my child that teachers act diffrent when the parents are not around. I beleave my youngest child would be doing better If the teachers were more involed with the students and not their personal intrest. As conpared to other schools my children have attented, I feel the teaching ability at rogers creek is at best sub-standard. A child can learn only as well as the teacher can teach.

I have two children that attend Rogers Creek and they are both at the top of there class. They both attended a different school in another city and when we transferred to rogers creek they were so far ahead of the other students in the class that in fact it seemed to affect their study habits in a negative way. Things come so easy to them that they don't have to study very much and I am afraid it will affect their future education. There is not enough challenges given to our students. Some of the teachers don't seem to be involed in making things fun and exciting for the students. I feel they push the AR program too much and they should focus more on math and science especially for the younger classes. The PE program is centered around the older kids also, not much fun for the younger kids.
