Kenwood Elementary School

My children attend KES. The positives are that parent involvement is encouraged, communication from the school is wonderful, and there are many little things that I love! My 3rd grader has an AMAZING teacher (H). There are not words to describe how wonderful she is. My kindergartner, however, is a whole other story. His teacher (C) is belittling, lazy and sometimes just out and out mean. She doesn't have the patience to be a kindergarten teacher. Also, she misspells almost every other word in every letter she ever sends home. I expect my children's teachers to be EDUCATED. Furthermore, he has nightmares about her and comes home crying almost everyday. Every attempt I have made to switch classrooms has been stopped. My youngest will be in Kindergarten next year, and you can bet he will not be in her classroom, possibly not even in this school. I'm seriously considering switching schools, even if it means paying for private school or quitting my job to homeschool.

ihave had problems with this school .c.brown the fifth grade teacher is rude and hateful to the kids.She has been known to tease kids in front of other kids about weight. She is not fit to care for our kids.

The teachers at Kenwood are some of the most caring educators I've had the pleasure dealing with. Their major concern is the well being and development of the children, not just drawing a paycheck.

I love Kenwood most of the time not been happy with my sons class this year they have changed the teacher 3 times already so its hard on the kids. But everything else is great. Good programs if you leave a msg for the the principal she called right back.

Kenwood Elem. is one of the best schools in Clarksville! I prefer it over Sango and Rossview which are overcrowded!

I love KES and don't want to leave! I was skeptic at first but after checking with the Board of Education and reading the report cards for the schools and glad that my child attended KES. The teachers love their jobs and the principal is friendly!!! Montgomery County should have more schools like KES!!!

KES is a wonderful school!!! They have a great ESOL program and all teachers work really hard with the students. My daughter has awesome grades and is an excellent reader! Thank you Kenwood for everything you do/did !!!

I love this school! I have 2 children that attend Kenwood. They love it. My kids have excelled academically there. The teachers are excellent.
