As a newcomer to the area, it's nice how everyone in the JA school community is so friendly and welcoming. The PTO is open to ideas and they encourage new families to get involved. It's easy to see why this is a Reward School! Everyone is happy and goes the extra mile.

I have nothing but great things to say about Jack Anderson! When I walk through the door, the office staff is there with a smile on their face and willing to assist. My kids love the teachers. They go above and beyond to help them surpass their goals. JAE has an involved PTO that supports the needs of the school to push the learning boundaries. My children rave about the STEM lab the PTO helped fund. Their favorite experiment in the lab this year has been making flashlights. The PTO also installed an art gallery in the front hallway. My children love seeing their pottery pieces and paintings on display. Who knew you could get private school amenities in a public school. We are lucky to be zoned for Jack Anderson.

I have had a child at JAE for the past 9 years. They have had wonderful teachers in all grades. The STEM lab is a great addition to the school! My son enjoyed making a flashlight and making a volcano explode. The hand-on learning is excellent. The staff is very loving and caring. Our family loves JAE!

Jack Anderson is a School of Excellence. The teachers and leaders in this school build a community of learning. The STEM lab provides an opportunity for hands-on learning and problem solving. The art program showcases masterpieces from each grade level, in the art gallery that greets each visitor. Teachers truly care about our children and foster the love of learning. We are so thankful that our children attend JAE!

We have been very pleased with JAE. The atmosphere in the school has a sense of a very caring community. We are thrilled with my sons teacher and Dr.Aldridge. They go above and beyond to give the kids a great experience and a safe environment. I could not be happier with JAE! I want to thank the staff for all their hard work and dedication.

JAE has been a good experience for my sons. The quality of the teachers has been a mixture of both good and great. They are always working to make the experience better for the students, and I think the school is doing the best to make the most of the educational experience for the students given the limitations placed on them by state and local governments tying their hands.

My children love Jack Anderson and as a parent, I couldn't be happier. I want to echo that Dr Aldridge is such a blessing to JAE. There is nothing like the feeling of seeing your kids get so excited about going to school. Our principal keeps the kids motivated. Each afternoon as we drive home from school my kids talk nonstop about their day. They love the new STEM science lab. My son launched a rocket that he made and my daughter built a parachute! I love that my kids get to be creative with science. We have been so impressed that the teachers email what is taking place in class. We love the weekly principal's memo and the new website!

I was reluctant about public schools but I've found that Jack Anderson is really more like a private school. The PTO is amazing and so involved! There is always so much going on to raise money and support for the school which can be seen in the tools available for the children. The staff have been amazing and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Aldridge. She's a treasure to this school and our community. I love this place and can't imagine sending my child anywhere else for elementary school!

We are new to the area and we were very afraid of our son not liking the new school he would be attending. He adapted very quickly thanks to the wonderful teacher he has! She has been wonderful to him and we think the world of her! I have seen her in the classroom while teaching and she is absolutely the best!!! The new principal is awesome!!! You can definitely tell she loves her job and loves each and every one of those kids! All the staff and the ladies in the office are really sweet and attentative when you enter the office!!! We never thought we would find a school that was even comparable to my son's first school, but we have. We are truly enjoying JAE!!!!! Thank you to everyone that makes JAE the school that it is!!!!

My son is attending JAE and starting on his third year. Our first year at JAE was horrible. The teacher was not very good, but impatient, condescending, and had my son hating school. The principal was worse. She never smiled or seemed approachable and was rude. The next year was better. We had a great teacher who was looking out for my sons interest, the principal was still the same scowling, unapproachable, and hateful person she was during our first year. We are now in our third year and a new principal...what a change! She is friendly, outgoing, and truly seems to care about the children. She is out front every morning waving and welcoming the students...what a difference! The whole morale of the school has seemed to change. Our teacher this year is outstanding! My sons writing has improved so much I thought he had the wrong paper!

WOW> Jae is just the best. It has the best teachers and staff. I have never seen my kids so excited to go to school each morning. They work head to head with parents. Teachers work so well and give the best each day. You don't have to worry who will be the next teacher. They all are so good and they really teach our kids!!!!! Go JAE. PTO does everything for the school and is very active to keep our school the number 1. We have a new principal but we will miss so much Dr, Clover

We pulled our kids from a private school 2 yrs ago & we have not looked back. We love the enviornment & all the teacher. They have a before & after school program that is wonderful for working parents.

My son went to JAE and had an overall good experience. I too feel As if the principle stays hidden away and isn't as active Or involved in the day to day as some parents want to see. My sons teacher was strict but very caring and approchable. The only other slightly negative thing I have to say is, my sons particular class had very little parent involvement. The room mom had to struggle and nearly do everything herself with only a few moms helping. Loved the teacher but a little more involvement would have been nice.

I was very disappointed in JAE when our child attended. I had high expectations, based on parent feedback. The principle stayed hidden away. Not approachable at all. Did not respond on issues - passed off. Friends that had children in other school would talk about events, schools initiating fundraisers. Nada at JAE. Minimal work = minimal results. Not impressed. Bad use of website - nothing updated, not good contact info. Teacher was nice, but normal. We miss the teacher, not the school nor principle.

My children have attended grades 1-3 and K-1 at Jack Anderson Elementary. The staff is very involved with making sure each child is successful. We had to do an IEP for one of my children this year and they came up with a great game plan to make her educational experience more successful. Unfortunately, we are moving again but I sure wish I could pack up the school and take it with me.

We spent the last half of the school year at JAE and love it! The parents are so involved and the education is top notch. Like a private school without the tuition!!

We are new to Tennessee and couldn't have been more fortunate to have Jack Anderson be the school we were zoned for. My 2 kids attended this year and it was great. The teachers were fantastic and the school in general was awesome. We've moved and are sad to no longer be zoned for Jack Anderson!

Jack Anderson is even better than a private school! We were in a private school for 3 years and my son needed help focusing his concentration and abilities and the teachers and staff at Jack Anderson were very accomodating. The principal (Mrs. Lassiter) is professional and strict, but very caring...a great combination. It's all the things you don't usually hear about public schools!

JAE is wonderful! We recently moved here from out of state and after many trips to different schools and talking to other parents we enrolled our child at JAE and have been very pleased! The teachers, principal, office staff, etc. are very friendly and helpful. My child has special needs and has had the best services that we could ask for. The parental involvement is second to none! This is a wonderful school and I would reccomend it to anyone.
