We have lived in Jackson only a few months. My son is a sophmore at JCM. The teachers, advisors, coaches are all top shelf and did everything to make both of us feel comfortable in our new location and school. Mrs. Hampson

I graduated from JCM, and I was more than prepared for the workload when I went to college on a full 4 year scholarship. JCM has received harsh criticism and a lack of support from the community, but the students have persevered despite it all. JCM provides fertile soil to help any child grow. The parents just have to be prepared to play their part too.

I am a JCM Parent and a 1987 Graduate of JCM, I love the school when I was a student and my sons enjoy going there (They are children, so in my opinion, they don't have a choice), I love Ms. Crump, she was my sons principal at Parkview Montessori and I will support her all the way! She gives these students structure, a listening ear and rules. More parents should get involved in the school system.

I am a JC-M student and I believe I am recieving one of the best education and social development experience that Jackson,TN has to offer. JC-M has a negative image because it is the student population is 80% African American and it is one of the last inner city schools in Jackson, TN. Jackson, TN has progressed alot but race is still a major issue in the city. JC-M is seen as a bad school but it has produced and still is producing many leaders in the city and nation. JC-M also has a repuation of having a challenging athletic program which has produced some pro-athletes in football and baseball. JC-M students are very well prepared for the world after graduation from the training they recieved at the school.

I am a JCM student. Just the other day the students rioted because the school's principal was changing. There are several fights daily. There is a drug problem to deal with also. The buildings are in shambles. Lots of racial tension also.

JCM really needs improvement. Half of the students say that there teachers don't teach anything and they probably know more than their teachers.

I am not a parent but a formal student. However JCM is the best school in the whole Madison County district. So many people look at JCM as a bad school, but it is the best school. The staff at JCM is all about helping the students and helping them make their dreams come true. While I was at JCM it was not just High School but it was my family away from my family. In conclusion it may not be in the most glamours part of town but its whats on the inside the make JCM shine like new money.
