Bullying is a major problem and school meals are a total joke. There are a handful of caring teachers there, but for the most part, it doesn't even begin to get a passing grade from me.

Loudon High School is a very poor school, maybe mediocre at best. Most of the teachers do not care much about their students education as they are in keeping their job, or the latest episode of high school drama. The classes are unbelievably easy, and not challenging at all. The curriculum does not prepare students for the real world or college, not even close. The classes are full of students goofing off and disrespecting their teachers. A lot of teachers give busy work and do not involve themselves in their classes. I am VERY disappointed in this school, and believe it could be doing much much better. I must say though there are SOME good teachers who do their best to prepare the students, and I thank them for all they've done.

Loudon High School has its advantages and disadvantages, as do all other schools. There are several things that could be done differently, such as the new schedule for next year. I do not understand it one bit, it's block scheduling and they're trying to make it much more complicated than it really is. But most of the teachers are great and are fun to have for class, they get involved in school activities and make class fun for their students.

My child transitioned from Middle School to Loudon High School with ease. She loves being a student at LHS. She seems to have a good realtionship with her teachers and they seem to care about her progress.

LHS is improving greatly. There has been a few problems due to 'Old Age' of the school, but is being directed by a Great Principal, and Assistant Principal. These two individuals are good leaders for our children. I have a child that attends this school, and I also am part of the employee team at LHS. I highly recommend LHS to any parent or young adult entering high school.
