This is our second year at Goodpasture and we love it! My daughter loves the Christian environment and the wonderful faculty. We are so thankful for this amazing school!

My wife and her siblings went to GCS 1st - 12th grade and I have personally seen the fruit of that Christian education first hand. Both of my children (9th & 5th grade) have attended Goodpasture since kindergarten and our experience has been nothing short of excellent in every area. I love how the school, staff, and families work together in creating an environment that helps to mold and fashion the hearts of Godly young men and women in the students in preparation for adulthood. With over 4.7 million given in scholarship money to last years graduating class, I have no doubt that this is an investment in my children's future I will never regret. I would recommend Goodpasture Christian School without any hesitation to any parent seeking to give their children the very best in Christian education.

FANTASTIC SCHOOL! Loving teachers. Loving students. Family feel. I highly recommend this school. I have two children there and I am a graduate of Goodpasture. This school has been consistent with the level of excellence that it puts forth.

A great place to attend and work! I graduated from Goodpasture and began working at the school when my son began kindergarten. We have been extremely pleased with his teachers and the education he is receiving. I have been blessed to be apart of the school as a teacher and hope I will continue there for a long time. I highly recommend Goodpasture for a quality, Christian education.

My daughter will graduate next year and has been at Goodpasture since preschool. She will remember all the Goodpasture faculty and friends that supported her in every way, every day so that she could be successful both academically, spiritually, and athletically. On a college application, when asked to describe obstacles she had to overcome to be successful, she said she had to be honest and admit that despite life's day-to-day hardships and stress, she was completely blessed and fortunate to have been equipped with every means of support she could ever imagine having at Goodpasture. She said my parents family, my school, my teachers, my coaches, my church, and my friends have done nothing but support, encourage and provide all the paths for me to be successful. "All I had to do was work hard and take advantage by receiving their support." Most of the children at Goodpasture are truly blessed, but you're doing something very right spiritually when they actually understand that.

The environment is wonderful. It not only a safe Christian setting but also and friendly welcoming one. The faculty is knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. As an alumni and parent there isn't another school that I would choose for my children's education.

My children were blessed to attend such a loving and caring school. This year due to popular demand, Goodpasture opened up a program for students beginning with 12 months of age. It is already full along with the 3 year old classes, 4 year old classes, and kindergarten! The school must be doing a lot of things right because so many classes are completely full! Students in pre k through the 6th grade receive mandarin Chinese, Spanish, music, art, STEM lab, technology lab, library science time and much more! It is definitely worth the tuition! No school can please everyone, but when the school's enrollment is actually up (over 900 students) from years past and waiting lists are started for several grades, the school is obviously doing a LOT of things right! I would highly recommend Goodpasture Christian School! From babies to high school, it has been an outstanding experience for my family!!

Kindergarten is good, with a happy, loving environment, but after that, it's nothing more than a public school that charges a lot of money. The enrollment has apparently dropped so much that classes for babies are opening in the Fall. I guess they have to make their money somehow. If you're looking for a Christian atmosphere for your child, look elsewhere, you won't find it here. But, on the bright side, if your child is a bully and/or teachers pet, or acts like they've never stepped foot inside of a church, they will blend in beautifully at Goodpasture!

We moved our children to Goodpasture when our oldest was entering middle school. We wanted a place where our children would be nurtured not only scholastically, but strengthened in their faith as well. We visited other private schools and came away from Goodpasture with the overwhelming feeling that this was where our children needed to be. We have not been disappointed! Our children have flourished under the loving, Christ-like care of their teachers. The faculty and teachers truly care about each child and know them by name. The quality of the technology has been greatly improved since we came and now is at a top-notch level. Just look at the ACT scores and scholarships that the graduates receive and you will see the quality that a Goodpasture education provides. Goodpasture is also strong in not only their sports, but also in theater, music, and art, as well as a variety of other extra curricular activities. Is it flawless? Of course not, but what school is. We have always found that the teachers and principals are willing to listen and do what it takes to help the students succeed. We would recommend Goodpasture!

I have had two students graduate from Goodpasture. I could not be more pleased with the academic program and the excellent role models the teachers have been to my son and daughter. Both of my children graduated with several hours of college credit completed. The school welcomes students of all faiths and loves each student unconditionally. I would highly recommend Goodpasture Christian School to any parent who desires a stellar academic program in a Christian environment. When you enter the campus, you immediately feel a sense of warmth and happiness. I would not trade my children's experiences at Goodpasture Christian School for anything!

I am an alumni and both of my chidren are currently enrolled at Goodpasture Christian School. We were looking for a preschool program for my oldest to attend 5 years ago and we visited a number of schools. Goodpasture was one of them and when we left the open house after visiting with the teachers my husband and I knew that we wanted our children here. I left there knowing my kids were going to be loved at school just as much as they are loved at home. The parental envolvement is awesome. The extra classes like art, chineese, plays that my children get to be a part of are great! They are challenged in the classroom and have full support from their teachers. I have read some of the other comments and Goodpasture is not flawless and yes mistakes can be made. The administration and faculity are only human and thank goodness we serve a forgiving God who does not pass judgement on our short commings. Who is there in the good and bad times. No one is perfect, no school is perfect. I am glad we get to call Goodpasture Christain School home!

My child is receiving an excellent education at Goodpasture. The staff is obviously committed to maintaining an excellent learning environment while consistently looking for ways to enhance my child's education. The classs sizes are small allowing the teachers to help students learn based on individual strengths. No school is perfect but Goodpasture is the perfect school for my child.

Faculty and staff love the Lord and look at teaching at Goodpasture Christian School as their ministry. Strong Administrative team who care about individual students. Academically, GCS is committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities for students who have varying learning styles.

I absolutely LOVE this school. My mother went here when she was growing up, so have all my cousins, and now me and my siblings. The faculty shows such love for all of the students and really cares about their performance. Each grade has been together since kindergarden or preschool so they are very close. The entire atmosphere is more of a family environment than any other place I have seen. Your children wont have to worry about bullying or not finding a place to fit in, and the staff is a great example fir leadership and christian attitudes. I truly recommend checking it out for yourself.

It is an okay school for a cookie cutter child. God forbid your child is not the norm. Also, Christian loving environment...HA! It is basically a public school with Church of Christ teachings. Very judgemental and narrow minded. I also taught community college for a bit. I had several students who were Goodpasture graduates. They were by no means ready for college. Very sad.

This is an amazing and top-notch school!!! We chose it for our sons because of all the wonderful programs and cutting edge education. I am so impressed with the faculty, especially the Leadership. From the Headmaster on- they truly care about my children. They have been true to their word and beyond; especially in accomadating our son with learning differences (and he is flourishing!). My children have never been happier. It is worth every penny.

Pulled my child after 13 days. Absolutely the worst school. The staff do not do what they say, they go back on their word. Look further if you are looking for a progressive education. This school has a very dated and confused attitude. The head master went back on his word to our family. Would not recommend to anyone!

We moved our daughter to Goodpasture from a public school, we love Goodpasture. The teachers are great and the principal of the middle school is one of the nicest people we have ever met. Our daughter is learning so many new things and in a consistent way that she is retaining the information. We made the right choice and our daughter loves her new school.

My Son graduates this May, He has been attending Goodpasture since K-3. He has has a tremendous experience, developed lifelong friendships with students, faculty, and staff. He has developed a sense of ambition, sportsmanship, and most of all christ like attitude that was in part nurtured at Goodpasture. His future success will be in part from the foundation he recieved at this school. All schools have their small problems, but are these things not able to allow our children to prepare for the future they will have in the real world? That is by the way what we are prparing them for...the rest of their lives.

I would only give the school a 1. There is total lack of leadership. There is no discipline what-soever, the school is running by the kids. It is a school all about sports, if you want an education then you need to look further. It is Christian in name only not principles

Christian? Administration and most of the parents do not portray Christian values. We have moved our children to a real Christian school without political administrators in charge.

Goodpasture is a wonderful school; top notch. As far as college prep, my child took the ACT Test as a 7th grader (last year) and scored a 20. I think that speaks tons for the academics. She was in the top percentage of 7th Graders in the state (Duke TIP Program). Thanks, Goodpasture!! Another outstanding credit to this administration is the Christian atmosphere they have brought to this campus. It has greatly improved (beginning in the 2005/06 school year). The campus continues to grow, with the updated 'smart boards' and new science labs. The vision is there and this administration is moving forward with leaps and bounds. If you are interested in putting your child/children here, I hope you will go by and check it out. I know you'll be pleased with what you see.

GREAT SCHOOL!!The 'Little Red School House' makes learning fun for the kindergardeners. They WANT to go to school, and are very upset if they have to miss. The elementary school teachers are very concerned for the whole student. Great educational basics are taught. The middle school has made great strides in the history and science areas. Mrs. Earnheart is the best 6th grade teacher. Miss Page has done a very good job withe the middle school chorus. The high school faculty are all knowledgeable in their respective fields. The office is always friendly, and answers any questions that may arise. Phone calls are promptly returned. Administration has an open door policy, and open to suggestions. The new guidance counselor, Miss Stillwell, is a great asset. She works with each student on their college application, and securing scholarships. My 2 children are well prepared for college.

My children have been @ GCS since pre-school beginning in 1999. Goodpasture is an excellent school. Academically, it has full accreditations obtained by only three other schools in the entire southeast. Teachers are experienced, energetic, and willing to go the extra mile for students! The administration has always been welcoming of concerns, ideas, and suggestions. As a parent involved on many levels @ the school, such as school events and PTO, I am able to see firsthand--and OFTEN--the many positives @ GCS!! In contrast, I am also active within the Nashville public school system as my oldest child attends public high school due to special needs. While Metro is making strides, it only takes one a moment within that school setting, to be so thankful for an enviornment like GCS for our children. I recommend GCS highly! It is helping to shape my children acadmically, socially, emotionally and spiritually!

GCS could not answer simple questions regarding my child's preparation for college. GCS is great for early grade School but beginning in the 5th grade, they encourage seperation with the family and more bonding with their classmates and teachers. This is not something we approve of in our home.

We started Goodpasture in the 3rd grade and was made to believe the academic program was excellent. I was almost immediately regretful about our decision. Not wanting to move my child again, I stuck it out with many new administration coming in. Things have not gotten any better. They must get better, but I do not have time to wait. We have removed our child from Goodpasture to another private school close by. We did not feel that we are getting a 'private school' education.

I graduated from Goodpasture in the late 80's and my son is attending there now. I have been nothing but pleased with his education and teachers thus far. He loves it. There has been some turmoil going on recently with some disgruntled parents that haven't gotten their way with the new administration. However, Goodpasture is a wonderful school and well worth the tuition!

Much has changed at GCS in the past 10 years. I grew concerned when the classes were not fulfilling the needs of my children. Questions to the administration went ignored or I recieved untruthful answers. The Christian ethic that we first experienced at GCS is not as evident. It is with great sadness that I am removing my children from GCS and going to another private, christian school.

I have been associated with the school for over 30 years and it has been an inspiration to myself and my kids. My kids are very involved and have had wonderful, highly qualified teachers and a great atmosphere of support on all levels. It is one of the more reasonable private schools in the area. I myself graduated in the 80's and attended an Ivy League school and did well. The school has a relatively new administrator and curriculum director with fresh ideas and competitive academic improvements. You get out of it what you put into it. There are many opportunities for honors classes as well as sports, chorus, band, art and drama. Great for the price!

Goodpasture has been a private Christian school since 1965. There are many teachers there with 25 to 30 years experience. Most teachers have masters degree or higher. Compared to other private schools in the area Goodpasture is very competitive in academics, sports, and in price. You can not go wrong choosing Goodpasture.

What the person meant is that since Goodpasture is so athletically minded, there is a lot of pressure on teachers to make sure athletes continue to qualify to play. Athletes do get preferential treatment and grading -- this is true almost anywhere. Goodpasture is less academically minded than it used to be, but compared to the horrible public schools in the area it is a good option.

Not sure how someone got 'false grading' and 'no educational value'. My child is not involved in sports at school but she is certainly getting an excellent education. We moved from public school to Goodpasture 3 years ago and have never had a second thought. My child is in high school now and her friends in public school are probably a year behind Goodpasture academically. Goodpasture has a new headmaster and new principals for both the Junior High and High schools. The work is challenging but the teachers are fair, always available, and keep in touch and involve the parents. Overall, my child is getting an EXCELLENT education!

We have three children in the school and have considered sending them to public school, but after visiting the schools in our area, we are so grateful that we made the choice to stay at Goodpasture. The teachers and administrative staff are wonderful, and it is so refreshing to leave your children in the care of people who care about their lives as much as we do.

Goodpasture has a wondeful balance be/ the 'old and the new' approaches in education: an emphasis on personal growth through spiritual and character development AND a focus on academic excellence through progressive programs and those that build of fundamental tools. Having said that, it is the commitment of Goodpasture's teaching staff, however, that allows the individual student to succeed. We have been at Goodpasture for 7 years - 2 kids - and have never regretted our decision a/b choosing this school for our children's education.
