This school is the best kept secret in Nashville. Great TCAP scores, great teachers who care and a principal who gets the job done. The PTA raises money to supplement this school and you can see it in the end result of students scores.

I am a teacher for Nashville schools. I am glad my daughter attends Crieve Hall. It is a small school with a community that cares. My daughter smiles everyday when she enters the school, and that makes me smile.

A wonderful school in a great location -- small size allows for high level of involvement and opportunities to meet other children, teachers, and parents. Mixed emotions on some of Metro's policies and feel that many of the warm traits historic to Crieve Hall have been diminished due to current administration. Many changes in store for this school and they are slated to get a new gym this year. They do need more classroom space in lieu of portables.

My son just finished Kindergarten and it was my first experience with Crieve Hall Elementary. The people are great! His teacher was always willing to answer any questions that I had regarding how my son was doing. I wish I had had a teacher like her for Kindergarten myself! I am looking forward to having my son continue at Crieve Hall and for my daughter to be starting in the 2008-2009 school year! I would definitely recommend Crieve Hall Elementary to any parent that is looking at Elementary Schools in this area! It is like one big happy family and I look forward to getting to know the staff and parents better in the next few years that my children will be attending there. Thank you Crieve Hall for being such a great and down-to-earth place for young children to get an education, positive encouragement and good friends!

My children attended Crieve Hall school last year then we had to move North (Ohio). I am very happy to report they are doing exceptionally well in their new school which rated #1 in Ohio, due to the wonderful job the teachers did at Crieve Hall. My kids really miss all the teachers and support staff in the school and talk about Crieve Hall and their experiences at the school constantly to their new friends. If someone is looking for a good school and does not want to worry about if your children is going to get a solid education, I recommend Crieve Hall.

This is a wonderful school and it is obvious the teachers know children well and really care about them. My daughter finished 2nd grade and she can already read Harry Potter books and there are several kids in her class that are on a more advanced reading level. They also learned lots of other things and p.e., music, and arts are also given enough emphasis. The children feel safe and loved at Crieve Hall Elementary. Every teacher knows every child and they make sure the kids are well cared for and receive excellent education. The principal, teachers, and other staff are very kind and responsive. They work hard and results are there - the children get great education. I am so happy my daughter attends Crieve Hall and hope my younger one will too, next year.
