good staff who put the kids first
My grandson was in kindergarten at Inglewood and had a fantastic teacher. He was in first grade at another school and will be back at Inglewood for second grade. There are uninvolved parents at Inglewood, but there are many INVOLVED parents and grandparents who do all they can for their own children and the other children that need someone to care. We should all try to help the teachers and to help the children who are neglected and have no one at home to care. This is the age group that we can help. If we wait until they pass fourth grade, it may be too late. It is in our best interest to put forth this effort.
In spite of the quality of the teachers (and God knows they try), this school's biggest problem is with the uninvolvement of parents in their children's lives and the subsequent behavioural problems that come from such neglect.
