This is a great school. They are very progressive.Their teachers genuinely care about their students. My son's teacher,Ms. Fuqua is amazing. My son has already gone leaps and bounds above last year.He wants to leanr and loves going to school.
Because our grandson is doing very good in this school and he likes the school. If a child likes the school you know he will learn his work.
Linden is an amazing school. Principal Ward is very open to suggestions, always available to talk with parents and the kids love him. Every morning he is outside opening doors and making sure things are running smoothly. I have never seen a principal know each students name. The teachers are also great. They truly care about their students and go above & beyond to help them learn.
THEY ARE FRIENDLY, SMALL, AND THE TEACHERS ETC KNOW ALL THE KIDS BY NAME. OUR GRANDSON IS IN Ms FUQUA'S CLASS AND LOVE'S IT. HE IS EXCITED TO GO TO SCHOOL EACH MORNING. SO YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD.
Linden is a very good school. The staff is excellent and cares alot about the students. My three kids have attended Linden and have done exceptionally well. The quality of the classes is very high. The parent involvement is awesome. Linden has a great sense of community. The kids have a variety of clubs they can choose to join. I am glad my children have had the opportunity to attend Linden.
Linden is very good school overall. It's greatest strength is a very involved parent community. Many extra curricular activities are offered by parents or staff such as foreign language clubs, chess, science, and fitness clubs. The physical education program is superior, focusing not on competition but on fitness and confidence. This school has a solid music and art program, something cut in many other schools. Linden's teachers are very dedicated. Linden's weakest point is that the curriculum has become focused almost entirely on the standardized tests. This saps inspiration even from the best teachers. However, since this is the federal measure of school performance, it's the same in almost every public school. Upper grades at Linden are routinely assigned way too much repetitive busy work; very little critical thinking. But this, sadly, seems to prepare them for the transition to middle school. Administration responds fairly to parent concerns about children.
