When reading this please remember that we have a loving God, that teaches us to love one another, NOT to hate one another. A young male student was being bullied by other students and the school didn't handle the problem in the right matter. The school came up with this new policy to handle the problem. All the information about this story can be found online at WREG.com.plus online under Rossville Christian you can find several sites where lots of people are very upset at this new policy started in late Dec. of 2011. This is the news station that a current parent called to report this story because she found it so upsetting. "A staff member or student who promotes, engages in, or identifies himself/herself with such activity through any word or action shall be in violation of this policy. Should the administration determine a violation of this policy, the person involved will be subject to disciplinary action with the possibility of permanent dismissal. Any applicant who is not in compliance with this policy will not be admitted. These children will leave this school one day as adults. Why teach them to hate people that are different?

RCA has been a fabulous school for our children. We have three and have been pleased with the administration and the teachers. My children love the environment and opportunities that RCA has provided. Although my children have different interests, each has been able to be involved in various activities that have lead to a more confident, well-rounded student. I would highly recommend RCA to anyone. The best deal around!!!

Who would guess that this school is close to celebrating it's 40 anniversary! It runs as if it's a few years old and still working out the kinks. A country school with great potential if someone would just bring about the changes that it needs to be competitive with other private schools. A real library, smaller classes (25 in K!), a PTA that is open to new ideas, some services for resource/gifted kids, and A/C in the gymnasium would be a start. Fabulous staff needing a fabulous leader.

RCA is a wonderful school! It has been the answer to our prayers. RCA offers the lowest tuition in the area and provides a high quality, Christian education. The course offerings in the high school expand each year and AP classes are being offered. The only problem RCA has is keeping up with the growing Fayette county population. New teachers are being added to keep the classroom sizes small and accomodate the increasing enrollment. If you are moving to the area, I would highly recommend a campus visit to check out this school!

I have two sons at RCA as well as a high school aged niece. My sons are in elementary & middle school. This is our third year to be involved with the school. I've seen very positive changes over the past three years. There are more sports being offered for elementary ages. My niece has done honors work during her high school years. My oldest son has been challenged much more by his classes at RCA than at the public school that we had tried the year before. I'm very impressed with how the teachers work with the students & parents to solve problems & make the overall environment conducive to learning.

Class size very large for private school. 5K has 25 students. No advance placement courses. Although school saw gain of new students they decreased admin. staff postions. Poor sports programs.

This school is amazing. I love it and I would say it's the best school I've been to along with my brother. The teachers are very caring, and understanding towards each individual, and the education is outstanding. I would recommend this school to anyone who is interested.

RCA is a wonderful school. I attended Rossville from kindergarten through 12th grade as did my two sisters. Now my children attend. The teachers are caring and work hard to help each student acheive his or her best. Elementary students enjoy weekly classes in art, music, p.e, spanish and computer. Recently, RCA has added a learning center that has a full time teacher to assist students that need extra help. I would strongly recommend RCA to anyone.

My two boys have attended Rossville for 4 years. I am very unhappy with the adminstration. It seems to be different rules for every child. I dont think we will return next unless some big changes happen in the adminstration.

Rossville did great things in my life. Despite this there was still reasons for me to change schools. The teacher quality at the school is excellent. They provide an education in a laid back enviorment, which many students have thrived in this type of setting. I know to this day I could call any of my former teachers for help, and they would provide the necessary assistance. As for the administration at RCA, my family was quite disappointed. They sometimes cross the boundries of student/teacher confidentiality often not letting parents know when the students act out in class and/or punished for their actions. Many times my brother had received detention and my parents had no clue. This was my only complaint. I have full faith in the Board of Directors and many concerened parents to fix this problem. I recommend Rossville Christian Academy.
