The staff are very caring and my children love it here. I do wish they focused more on reading and writing though. But overall we love the school!

We had thought about putting our children in private school, but everyone that we talked to about this, said Trust us, Russellville is the best choice. For it to be a 'big' school, all of the staff knows the children by name, and their siblings that preceded them through the doors at Russellville. My children are the second generation of my husband's family to go there to school. I will truly miss this school in two years when our youngest moves onto to middle school.

Russellville is the best. Before my daughter was old enough to start school, I asked around about which school was the best. Almost everybody said Russellville (a few said Whitesburg). I picked Russellville and I am so happy that I did. My oldest daughter completed K through 5 grades there and loved every minute. She only had one teacher that she didn't like and she is now retired. My youngest daughter is going into 3rd this year and she loves it there, too. Mr. Taylor is wonderful. He always knows all the kids' names. Ms. Murph-Smith is awsome. She's so energetic. Ms. Tharp (K) is the best! Ms. Spoone (2nd) is a sweethart. Ms. Greene is very nice, also. I could go on and on about the teachers and Mr. Frank, the janitor, and the lunch staff. They are all great.

I couldn't say it better than the other comments. This is a great school and in my opinion is the best in the district. It just has a different atmosphere than other schools. My child has thrived with a 4.0 gpa all through and is now in his final year. We couldn't have asked for more for his education.

Russellville Elementary is a great school. The school has a caring staff (including the janitors). Students thrive at Russellville. In my opinion, it is the best school in the district. My child has attended several other schools in the district, Russellville is the best.

Academics at our school are great. My children were well prepared for terra nova standardized tests, and scored above the national average. My kids also take art and music and have basketball available. Parents are very involved including pta and other groups. The best part of the school is the family-like environment. The teachers and principal know each kid and most parents by name. My children went to private school prior to enrolling at Russellville, and we are more pleased with their ed. here.
