Woodson Center for Excellence is a safe, secure school for students who need an alternative setting to the 'regular' high school. The staff is what makes the school because they are all on the same page as far as how the school should be run, following the rules, teaching, etc. The principals love the kids and are hands-on, in and out of the classrooms and monitoring the halls. They know the kids by name and have fun with them; however, they DO make the students tow the line, and they do not play favorites. The state test scores need to be improved, but the stress and demand of these tests is hard on the type of student who attends this school. They will learn much more than what tests can measure!
