I am a student here but love it all the way. I wish we had a theatre program for us 'drama freaks' but sadly do not. The athletic program is really awsome along with the academic program. I have been going here since I was in pre-k and have loved it 100% It has school spirt and amazing teachers!

I really enjoyed my children attending Anahuac High School. I found an excellent support system with all faculty members..You can go into the school at any time and talk to anyone..The support for the sports activities is amazing. The whole town will be at a Friday night football game.My son has attended AP classes for the majority of his school years. I feel that smaller classes have been very beneficial and helpful.

Anahuac is a small school but offers many of the courses usually found in larger schools such as Pre-AP and AP classes in every subject area and at every grade level. In a given year, as many as 30% of the students will be enrolled in these advanced classes.

Anahuac is a school of Politics. The more money the family has, the more attention the students gets. Depending on your Family name, is how Educated and smart you may appear to be. A lot of kids are considered failures before any educational Knowledge is sought. It's a shame that this is the way it is. But there are some teachers who do care. And will go out of there way to help some kids. and there are some that won't bother, because they feel they will be wasting there time.

Anahuac is a school where the principal cares more about apperance than about the students ability to learn. We have many high school students who can not read well, and the school has done little to help them.
