In spite of its demographics, Blanton is an excellent school and it barely missed the highest state rating! Its principal, Mr. Paulson is fantastic! Students grow vegetables in the courtyard where there are also rabbits and turtles; fortunately these pets are kept separate from the veggies!

I think there are a hand full of very awsome teachers at Blanton and some who should not be teaching. All in all in my opinion the school is 'OK'....

Classrooms are not equally divided by number or gender. Not strong academically. There is availability of music and art but no extracurricular activities. Level of parent involvement is more than average schools require leaving a lot ot teaching to at home.

I believe Blanton is a fairly good school. I have noticed there seems to be a great teacher turn over every two or three year.

I have two children that attend Blanton & I am very satisfied with the learning that they are receiving. Blanton just remodeled the school in the summer of 2002 & it looks like a brand new school. The teachers there are wonderful & they care very deepely for each & every child that attends. I know some people may turn their nose up because of the uniform policy but most of Arlington's schools have this policy in place. I look at it as an advantaage so that no child will get made fun of becasue they are not wearing the hottest fashion. I want to thank Blanton & all it's employee's for giving their all & for caring as they do!
