Yes, I think CRM is a good school, though I would not call it a great one due to LISD issues. I really miss a second language class opportunity from the 6th through 7th grade. Why can Round Rock and Pflugerville school dictricks do that? The RRISD and PISD students already can choose 2 Pre AP classes from the 6th grade too. Why is it more important to have cheerledder or dance classes than a second language or a Pre AP LA class in middle school?

I have had 3 of my kids go through Canyon Ridge, and have been so impressed with the quality of education. The principal runs a tight ship and hires teachers who truely care for the kids. Teachers are accessible for tutoring and want their students to succeed. The band program is fabulous, as is athletics. I felt the school prepared all three of my kids for high school and beyond.

My son and daughter just completed their first year at CRMS and it has been great. I've been very impressed with both the quality of academics as well as the positive feedback from my kids. They like and respect their teachers, which makes my life easier too ;-)

First of all, I have had problems with some of the teachers and principals. Also, with now being a high schooler, I realize how much I dont miss Canyon Ridge. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because it is a clean campus with challenging classes. and with all of the strict rules, I like to call it Canyon Ridge Military School. OH, and now that it is a huge middle school, the one-on-one thing with small classes doesn't happen to much anymore. however i will say that i had a great time participating in basketball.

Best middle school in Texas! Probably one of the best public middle schools in the US. Great principal, fantastic teachers, wonderful students and superb parent involvement.

This is a truly wonderful school with a great principal, great teachers and great students. Last year we moved here from Louisiana with our then twelve year old autistic son. He was learning virtually nothing in LA. initially, he was placed in an ICAP class and mainstreamed in history and science. He competed and won in The State Science Fair and now he is mainstreamed and doing well in all of his academic classes. CRMS is what all public schools should strive to emulate.
