New Principal Karen Miller-Kopp has raised enthusiasm and responsiveness significantly and could take this school great places. It is a safe, friendly, supportive school.

My daughter attended kindergarten at Lake Travis Elementary. We absolutely love Mrs. Seidenberger. She was the most fantastic kindergarten teacher and we couldn't have asked for more.

There are some serious classroom management issues at the school and picking up children from school is a very time consuming task. The traffic backs up to the highway. There was a playground incidence that I tried to contact the teacher about. It has been almost a week since it occurred and I am still waiting to talk with the teacher.

The school is not organized and some parents are frustrated because the ones who are actively helping the school don't get the support they need to help out. I have personally experienced having an issue that I tried to get the principal involved in and she didn't respond. I am considering a move if there is not a change in administration.

School needs to be more organize and well prepare their students in UIL program. Lake Point has the very effective and motivate reading program which I feel Lake Travis Elm should bench mark. Principal needs to share her vision and continue improve the school. Lastly, the Imaginary program also need to be more organize and well communicate. Lake Point has a great principal leadership skill who connect parents and students with school closely which should be bench mark.

Wonderful! So impressed that we moved to the area...from Beaumont to Austin. The difference in the school systems is incredible!
