This school is very limited on its technology and the staff are absolutely horrible. No one seems to do their jobs in a timely manner. Their main focus seems to be the funding they get in rather than the way the school is ran. I really wish I had known someone in the area before moving into this school district. I felt I had to atleast post this to forewarn others. This school is not up to date as it should be for the era that we are in and I would strongly recommend researching A LOT further before relocating to this district.

Small school better chance for children to learn

We love BG elementary. All three of our children have attended there, and they have been so happy and well-cared for. The teachers are excellent, and Mr. Brewer is top-notch. Our kids loved the extracurricular activities such as honor choir, UIL competition, field trips and field day, and many special programs and guest speakers. We haven't had a bit of trouble. This is a very calm, happy, safe school.

I am very, very happy with B.G. Elementary. Although my child is only in kindergarten, she is very happy and seems to be learning so much. The school has a very relaxed environment, and so many of the staff and students know each other. My child didn't grow up here, but acceptance seemed to me to be immediate. The principal, David Brewer, is a very nice, relaxed man. He has his school well in hand, but he rules it with a smile rather than a frown. I have come to know and appriciate Mr. Brewer and his staff, and I feel comfortable that my child's education really matters to them all.
