i believe Idea Frontier is a well run school. The teachers are very helpful when it comes to helping you higher your grades. Love how they do thier best to get everyone at the same level and help them out all the way until they get to college.

Hello! :) I am currently a senior at IDEA Frontier and I am glad to say I will be part of the first graduating class at Frontier. As a former student I can assure you that IDEA Frontier cares for the students like parents care for their children. They prepare us for college by giving us challenging academic courses and structure. As a student I feel welcomed and every where I turn someones is eager to help. We consist of excellent administration and the best teachers in the Rio Grande Valley our Principal Mr. Posada cares and will do anything to see us suceed not only in college but in life. I LOVE IDEA ... Sincerely , Julie Guzman

I had my children in expensive private schools but, Idea's curriculum is much better.

About the tests


In 2012-2013, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) was used to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in science in grades 5 and 8; in social studies in grade 8; and end-of-course assessments for English I, II, and II, Algebra I and II, biology and US History. STAAR is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

The different student groups are identified by the Texas Education Agency; if there are a small number of students in a particular group, the state doesn't report data for that group.

About the tests


In 2012-2013, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was used to test students in English language arts and mathematics in grade 11.
