We have moved out of Cleburne ISD because services provided were so below other DFW school districts. My child spent a year in Coleman (1st grade) with an inadequate sub and as a result, we need to hold him back another year. We got a cold shoulder from the old principle and the applogies from the new one but no knowledge my child needs to continue his schooling. No parent involvement at all unless they are asking you to donate the money! I would recommend to keep your children out of Cleburne ISD unless you want to ruin your child's life. Disgrace!

The new principal at this school is such a wonderful blessing! He is turning the school around from 'let's just have fun attitude to 'let's get to work' and is very encouraging to the children about doing their best and learning something new each day. Another thing he is big on is talking to them about College NOW and instilling in them that a college education is very important. I know it has been a hard road for him to go this first year with all the changes and some people don't like change but watch out - Coleman is up and coming!

My son attended Coleman Elementary for four years. He had wonderful teachers who taught with their heart. Social behaior taught along with academics, for an all around education.
