This is an amazing school! The teachers work very hard to meet each childs needs and really focus on what is best for each child and for the class
I really like this School. Everything is just perfect. The teachers and staff are qualified and dedicate their time and efforts to achieve a very positive result to their students
Both of my children attend South Knoll and the education they received to amazing. The teachers work hard and are some of the most highly qualified teachers I've ever seen. Both of my children love school. These teachers have accepted my boys for who they are and do their best to build on their strengths. Everything they do is very researched based.
My son attended kindergarden here and was having a bit of trouble ajusting to the new school at first, his teacher was ontop of it and informed me right away suddenly I had everyone doing there best taking their time to see that my son adjusted and that he enjoyed his day. I thank all everyone at south knoll for all their help time and attention. They are all very wonderful!
The teachers work EXTREMELY hard at this school. The majority of them strive to give everything that they can for your child. The administration is new and they have A LOT of growing to do, especially in the realm of professionalism.
I would consider South Knoll a 'good school'. I would not count on this school for empowering a child, promoting self efficacy, or using the latest approaches to teaching. Though a few teachers are the exception, too many have lost their drive for teaching. The office staff wouldn't hurt to have a lesson in human relations either.
We have been happy K through 3rd grade. For years, 4th grade leaves a lot to be desired. We're sad that several good teachers moved on last year...still, Mrs. Patton (1st grade--great at matching work to each student's ability level and very nurturing), Mrs. Jones (respectful and accepting of ALL students and great at challenging bright kids), and Mr. Landmann (one of the 2 or 3 best teachers I've encountered in my life--his class is truly life-changing! He empowers 9-year-olds to research and learn on their own, hone their writing skills, and teaches his kids to think analytically-no busy work in this class!) I wish there was a 4th grade teacher to carry the torch.
