I have two children at COLLS. Both children have had a great experience at this school, academically and socially. As a parent, I feel welcome and included. We plan to stay through 8th grade. I have had great peace of mind knowing my kids are safe and happy at school, including the extended care program after school. My kids usually don't want to leave when I pick them up because they are having so much fun playing with their friends after school. Academically, I have seen clear and steady growth in their learning. Good communication from school.

Our family had such high hopes in this school. At first, it seems to be perfect... beautifully painted drawings all over hallway walls and classrooms, seemingly enthusiastic people... but we sadly discovered that Crown of Life is not what it seems. Teachers treat students from certain families (staff, etc) with extreme favoritism but neglect other students. Bullying exists here starting at a very young age, continuing on through 8th grade. We are so disappointed that a Christian school could ever be so unchristian. Nothing is done about the bullying, and it is swept under the rug with barely an apology and no change. The student turnover rate is high. I've spoken with many other families that have left or are leaving for the same issues with the administration and student treatment. If I could warn any loving parent to shield their child from the highly likely mistreatment they will encounter here, please use caution and try to see past the facade. Too many kids are suffering lower self worth because of this school. Please pray for change... I know I will, for the sake of any remaining children being devalued here. Our child is much happier at their new school.

My wife and I pulled our child out of crown of life with only a few weeks left in the year due to incessant bullying. Nothing could have prepared us for the sick feeling learning that our child was being singled out and ostracized by her classmates daily. A distinct air of nepotism surrounds this school, If you are not part of the "in" crowd as students or adults be prepared to be treated poorly and or abused. It saddens me to have to write such words about a school but as more parents come out of the woodwork regarding the inherent favoritism the more I feel the need to inform others of our struggle. I fear that the few years my child spent at crown of life have done enough to damage the self esteem and independence of our child and I pray that this review helps others to pay more attention to the growing bully habits of some of the more privileged students.

Crown of Life Lutheran School is the best kept secret in Tarrant County. This is a school that has a great Christian Education with highest academic standards. We have (2) grandchildren enrolled there and they love it. We can not believe the great education they are getting. Just being in the facility is up lifting and the teachers are the very best available today. The principal is focused on the children and making sure that they come first. We get all of these great things at a very competitive enrollment charge.
We are very happy at Crown of Life Lutheran School. We have had our child in several private schools over the years due to moves so we have had experiences with other private schools. The principal, teachers, office staff, and Pastors are all approachable, friendly, nurturing, well qualified and highly capable. COLL is organized and well run. The school experience is friendly, caring, engaging, positive and fun. The curriculum is balanced, structured, and they give the students the tools they need to succeed. COLL contracts the services of a professional from LSEM (Lutheran Special Education Ministries). This is something that is often lacking in private schools and I have been thoroughly impressed with the assistance we have received from this program in identifying and addressing our child's dyslexia. COLL has extra-curriculars, events, and socials that are free or inexpensive. The tuition is lower than most private schools in the area. The school offers an affordable, flexible drop -in before and after care school program. The class size is small (capped at 15). Homework is minimal. Christian education is integrated into curriculum. Catered hot lunch program available.

I LOVE this school! The engaging student projects are life-long lessons. My current 3rd grader is doing a group project on economics, which includes coming up with a business plan & loan, marketing plan, and advertising. They are selling their goods and then all profit goes to a charity of their choosing. Talk about preparing them early on for success! The excitement from my child about being able to help others if they do well in their "business venture" is infectous. Inspiring children to make a difference in this world by loving others is what makes Crown of Life a living and breathing Christian education!

I actually think the quote about it being the "best kept secret in Tarrant County" is very true. To see the teachers and Principal leading the morning Rise and Shine meetings is exciting. It is evident the school is focused around children. I would invite anyone to stop by and look at that school as it is "on fire" with learning and happiness. The Pre-school is amazing. You get a certified teacher in the 2 year olds! I am excited to hear classes are filling up and going on wait lists. Crown of Life enjoy your excitement! You have spent countless hours making this a wonderful place for children! Cheers to a great school!

COLLS has been an unbelievable blessing to our family. The student to teacher ratio, curriculum, attention to the "whole" child's growth, teacher s commitment to the children, and concentration on inspiring the children to be their very best and think outside of the norm. They are constantly being challenged by engaging projects, stimulating classroom assignments, and sports activities. We could not have made a better choice for our kids.

My daughter attended this school from kindergarten thru 8th grade. She started the first year that the school opened. They didn't have any bells or whistles back then but they did have incredible teachers and church support. My child received a superior education and was so well prepared for high schoolv And, the Christian approach was felt in every classroom.

Crown of Life Lutheran School is an excellent place to send your children. They have a top notch facility that believes in individualizing for your child in every lesson. The teachers receive top rated staff development and are held to a high standard of accountablity. The principal, Dr. Barton is a dream! They got her from Southlake Carroll, sorry Dragons! I have 2 there this year and will put 4 there next year. Hope there are spots left for others to see this great school.

Choosing the right school for your child is an important and tough decision. With careful thought and consideration, we chose Crown of Life. It was truly the right choice! Dr. Barton's leadership, wonderful attitude, and love for children radiates throughout the building. The staff maintains a positive christian environment while providing challenging and engaging curriculum. My son loves Crown of Life; therefore, so do I!

We knew Crown of Life had a reputation for academic excellence but we never expected to be so welcomed as a family into this true community school. Everyone at the school is exceptional from the Principal all the way down to the fabulous lunch lady. The pastoral involvement alone has worked wonders for my sons during those troublesome teen years. And even though we've been through trying financial times, we never considered leaving COL because we knew we couldn't begin to replace the foundation and support our children receive from at COL. I can't speak highly enough of Doctor Barton and all the great work she and her staff are doing.

Unmatched commitment by principal, staff & parents to ensure a Christian education with an emphasis on individual engagement and life skills that prepare tomorrow's leaders.

I could not speak more highly of our experience at Crown of Life. It was a difficult decision on where to send our only child but from day one COL embraced our family with grace and enthusiasm. We are certain we have chosen the best school to ensure our son's development spritualy, socially, physically and intellectually.

Crown of LIfe Lutheran School has been a wonderful asset to our children. Our daughter began her 5th grade year here and is currently in 7th grade. Her enthusiasm spread to her brother who is now currently in the 4th grade at COL. They receive the love of Christ on a daily basis from their peers and their teachers. I know they are receiving a fantastic education where they are being stretched to think outside the "normal" realm of the world and are becoming incredible Christian leaders God intends them to be.

My son this is 2nd year for Preschool. I am so attached to this school for him. The parents, teachers and kids are wonderful! The preschool director this is her calling to work with our preschoolers. You couldn't ask for more. My son not only learns basics but he is learning the foundation of everything for life: God's love and how to share it with others.
