Colmesneil High School

Colmesneil High School has done an incredible job of staying focused on a better education for our kids. Mr. Macalpin is the current Principle and he has done a great job in recruiting quality teachers and coaches. My kids feel that their future is very secure and they know that they are surrounded by teachers that care for their safety and well being. I want to say thank you to the current leadership at the school for a job well done!!!!!

Since the School Board was overhauled in May of 2004. I can say nothing about praise for the New Superintendent and the School Board Members. This is a Great school!

Colmesneil High School is a quiet little school in Colmesneil, Texas. Probably most well known for its achievements on the baseball diamond, the Bulldogs have a storied past. Although the teaching staff is relatively young, this school has seen its fair share of great teachers (and coaches for that matter) in the not so distant past. Also, the still kinda new superintendent has received nothing but raving reviews from everyone in the community. Not everything is so perfect. The current school board members are a disgrace to the community. They are more concerned with petty 'power trips' than they are with the well-being of the student body. If everyone in the town attended the meetings, they would be shocked and embarassed. Do not let your child attend this school if you care about his/her education and future.
