My daughter loves this school. This is her second year to attend Robert E. Lee and we feel very integrated into the school as a community. The teachers she has had so far have been really wonderful. She has learned so much in such a short period of time and we are grateful to have found such a wonderful school in the heart of Dallas.

Robert E Lee is an awesome school to send your children to. Two of my kids go here and I can see a big difference this year compared to last year. Since the school has been rated as Exemplary, the teachers seem a lot more involved and they seem to care more about every child's progress. I love that it is a small school and that all the teachers seem to know every student and the principle really enjoys getting to know every child on a first name basis.

Just made Exemplary for 2011! I saw it on the marquee. An Exemplary school with 260 kids? You bet I'm sending my daughter there when she starts kindergarten.

Robert E. Lee. This school has a lot of potential. Staff/teachers could be a little more friendly with parents and students. Parents and children should always be greeted upon arriving in the school. Some teachers need to take an extra step into the developing minds of the precious children here. There could be alot more parent involvement if we felt more welcome in the school. I can say this much the children are awesome and well behaved. I do wish neighborhood homeowners would consider this school a place to start their child/children's education. I think the school would benefit tremendously with more community and parent participation. I would also like to see more extracurricular activities offered here. Robert E. Lee does house some excellent teachers and staff.

Robert E Lee is an fabulous school. It is a gem right next to downtown Dallas. We transferred our child in from a five figure a year private school-the education is better, the parental involvement is growing by leaps and bounds, and the staff is the height of professionalism. I told someone recently at a Junior League meeting, 'Robert E Lee is the best thing that has ever happened to our family.' We are in the midst of a giant fundraising campaign for a $50k new playground/sport court. The class sizes are small, the teachers are experienced and the children are very well behaved. We are so glad that we gave public school a chance, and we will be at Lee for the long haul-we have two more kids to put through there. Walk the school, check it out-it really is a great place!

Absolutely love the school! Small classes and the children are happy. The art teacher is incredible! She also leads the choir. The trophies are on display in the libray. The librarian is very helpful and always has a smile! The PTA is finally picking up the pace. I have a kindergartener there this year and will have one there next year too! I just love Lee the place to be.

I love Robert E. Lee. Initially, I was concerned based upon other older reviews, but they were completely unfounded. I have been pleasantly surprised by the administration, teachers and the students. It is also small so the kids actually get a good amount of attention. It's almost like having a private school in the public school system. I am very active and would like to see other parents do more, from the PTA to volunteering. The school is a truly special place and I am glad to have my child and soon a second child attending for many years to come.

We Love Lee! I have 2 children that attend Lee and could not imagine a better place for them to be. I really feel like the entire faculty is dedicated to not only the education of our children but also in the building of their character. The classes are small so the students really get alot of individual instruction. Even though it is small there are still lots of educational activities going on. It also makes for more of a family atmosphere where we take care of each other even right in the heart of big D!
