L.V.Stockard need a new Principal and Ast.Principal He has created a prison and students do not like walk in the door.Teachers are not happy. He need not like parent in the school
—Submitted by a parent

Posted March 19, 2008

Principal has managed to kill any joy that might have existed among students and teachers. There are no assemblies, no art classes, no theatre classes, no shopclasses, no foreign languages. Principal even sent out a memo the week before Christmas break stating -- no parties and no films. He promises the students pizza parties if they do well on the TAKS Test, then tells the kids if they want a pizza party, their teacher can pay for it. He chastises teachers in front of their students. He has created the atmosphere of a prison, and unfortunately, I'm afraid this has turned many students off to education altogether (and I fear that they might drop out as soon as they're old enough). What's really a shame is that it doesn't have to be like this. One arrogant, inept man has managed to destroy morale (65% of faculty has quit under this regime).
