We are starting our second year at PHPS. I could not be more thrilled. They are aware of each student / their "challenges" and what needs to be done to make improvements. Sheila (the Director) is willing to work with families to work a plan to help children with their deficiencies. My daughter has anxiety - not only is she comfortable there - she went from reading at her grade level (when we started school there last year) to 2.5 grades better (with good comprehension). Because of the small class size - she cannot hide from learning. It does not always make her happy to learn - but she has improved in her learning skills because of PHPS. We are looking forward to year 2.

If your child is having difficulties with reading and comprehension this is the place for you. Teachers are very caring and loving. The director cares very much about the children.
