The teachers are amazing and help inspire the students
My daughter attended public school for the first time this year. We had heard good reports from our neighbors about the school and the district. As it turns out, our daughter's experience at DSES was amazing. All of the faculty and administrators were caring and helped her transistion from private to public school be smooth. We are very happy with DSES.
Ms. Flaim was my son's teacher before she got her promotion. I am told she has principal experience in her background prior to this promotion. I fee so lucky to be moved over to the school she is at. Her discipline and reward tactics with the children have earned her so much love and respect. If you are thinking about going to this school, we love it. Ms Flaim will make it even better. I m sure we will hit Exemplary this year with her at the helm! Good luck Ms Flaim! Ethan F. and his mom
We moved to Dripping Springs from out of state. My son's teacher has been phenomenal in getting him the support he needed to handle the transition and become more comfortable in his new environment. He is excelling with his reading and math skills, and even his personality is beginning to change more positively. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Dripping Springs Elementary.
This school is great all around. However if you don't get involved you wont be involved. Esp. if you are not into being a part of the PTA and PTO organization that this school has, which it is great. Great school funds would be better if all pitched in. The parents are all friendly, and the staff is great. The principal retired at the end of the 05-06 school year. Play ground is big, sports, excels in academics even if your child needs help - it is provided, no bad crime in the area, housing was affordable(town is growing) ie: two more schools were built in one year. Great Community! Great learning experience, I wish my daughter could still attend this school. Have Fun sit back and participate you will have a blast.
DS Primary has awesome teachers and a great campus. They constantly have musicals/plays for the kids and parents to enjoy.
My nephews attend this school. I am very impressed with the teachers and staff. They go out of their way to meet the students needs.
My daughter attends this school and is currently completing her 2nd year. I find the teachers superb. They really focus on the needs of each child. The parent volunteers are outstanding and provide for additional learning enhancements. They also provide for other fun activities that round out the education experience...ie tiger science, art appreciation, math stars. My son is not a student but is provided excellent speech therapy through the school.
