Never gives any notice for functions and on the rare occasion that you are informed of something going on, it does not happen at the scheduled time. Tiny gym/auditorium. Plan on playing the "pass the buck" game when dealing with issues. Lastly, if you are new to the school and would like to know "how to/where is" anything. Make friends with another parent...otherwise you are left in the dark.

I agree this school is at best average. The school has a NO tolerance for fighting which in turn means both sides. However the principle and their educated teachers for the most part of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder or think they are above some of us who are not as fortunate to be in either local law enforcement, border patrol or have some type of government entity job. My grandson attends this school and I was very very bothered by the fact that he had rock thrown at him NOTHING done, name calling which is hazing another NO Tolerance concept on top of the teacher ignoring the situation as to "kids will be kids". NO kids will not be kids when that rock could have put out an eye and the principle along with staff turned a blind eye to the issues.

The school located in a nice and relatively safe neighborhod, however the school itself has much to be desired. The educational level is about average, but the staff has no real plan with dealing with discipline issues. Since my child's enrollment, she has been bullied and assaulted and worst still verbally discriminated against by other students. Being that we are African American and the diversity of the school is low, it has been made more than obvious. The teachers seem disorganized at times and careless at others and the principals act powerless to enforce what ever rules they say they have. I doubt my child will return next year.
