Montwood Middle School

I am a retired teacher who now subs at Montwood Middle. Without a doubt, this is my favorite school. The administration and faculty is there to help students, parents, and subs. Everyone is on task and very friendly. This is truly an exemplary school.

Montwood Middle should be commended for the fine job that they do with the children. the staff are brilliant and the school itself is run like a tight ship , with little to no room for fighting or bullies due to the strict rules and regulations as well as school uniforms. The traffic and pick up of students is horrible but not as bad as the sister school Elfida P Chavez next door with whom Montwood is connected to through the large library.Overall out of public school choices in El Paso i put Montwood at the top. Cafeteria is one of the largest and cleanest facilities i have ever seen.

Montwood Middle School runs on its high expectations without them the school would be pure dissaster. The princepals care about the future of the students including myself. Every teacher plays a different role in our lives wether its good or bad they leave an unhealable scar in our hearts.

overall acceptable school way to much traffic in the morning as the high schoolers get picked up there earlier. Plenty of oppurtunities for all children to excell my daughter started out at the school failing every class by the end of the second semester in 7th grade was borderline honer-roll almost there.

The administration has done a great job at controlling bullies and fighting. The teachers are committed and are willing to speak to parents as often as needed. The Special Ed. teachers are wonderful and attentive. My kids love this school.
