This school is ok considering that it has been deemed academically accepted. my major concern for the past year has been the no child left behind subgroups. My 3rd grader has been falling behind for some time. It has been difficult to get this school to see that. He has been diagnosed with ADHD approximately two years ago and no testing has been done by the shool. When ever I press the issue it is always something I have to do, give or bring. This child failed every part of the TAKS test that could be possible and report card denoted retention yet he was passed up to the 4th grade. Does this sound like no child left behind or some slipping through the cracks. I have also noted that African americans are at a higher disadvantage considering that they scored the lowest on standardized tests & Special Ed students.

Last week we received a letter to the parents addressing the fact that they will now operate under the Public Education Gran(PEG) because it was rate academically unacceptable. Since the beginning of the school year my son has had a total of three home room teachers and about four substitute teachers. It is unstable school and it's not right to have your child's teacher constantly changing on them. Children need stability at school. I've tried to transfer my child but have had no success since most the other school are above capacity. I don't recommend this school until it gets it's act together. Children deserve better in the public education system and this school has failed in providing that to our children time and time again. It's hopeless.

Very disappointed in this school. Some Teachers are great and others incredibly poor. Many teachers have expressed their discontent with school leadership. Unacceptable language, violence, disrespect and bullying are common practice here. Avoid this school if possible!!
