We love LCCS!! It is more than just a place for your child to learn academically. It is a great christian environment with everything to offer. Wonderful athletic program and state of the art Fine Arts department. Wouldn't want my children to be any other place!

LCCS was a wonderful school for our family. I have three children, all adults now that attended and their lives were greatly impacted by LCCS. the alumni of LCCS tell the story...they are doctors, lawyers, missionaries, pastors, accountants, teachers, men and women serving our country in the Armed Forces and Moms and Dads. If I were to choose a school today, I would choose Lake Country Christian School again. Thank you to the Administration and School Board that continue to hold up the standard of the mission statement. To educate, equip and encourage Christian leaders to fulfill their God-given purpose and impact their culture.

LCCS is a wonderful school. Our children have been able to experience so much. They have had the ability to try all types of activities. This has help make them well rounded. They have also been able to experience true support from other students as well as the teachers when life throws you a curve. The academics are excellent. Our oldest child is in her first semester at The University of Texas at Austin and has earned honors in the McCombs business school.

LCCS is a fantastic school! One of my kids started in sixth grade and the other in high school. All I can say is I wish they both started at LCCS in Kindergarten! The Christian Worldview is presented in every subject and kids are nurtured in their Christian walks by the teachers, admin, and fellow students. I can only imagine how strong my kids' faith would be if I had avoided public school in elementary! The academics are very rigorous and prepare students for entrance into excellent universities. The amount of scholarship money won by relatively small graduating classes is staggering! The teachers and staff are loving and nurturing; but also hold students to the standards that my family wants for our own children spiritually, behavioraly and accademically. I am so glad the Holy Spirit brought our family to Lake Country Christian School!

LCCS seems more concerned with pleasing their wealthier families with multiple children who have been with them since pre-K than in preparing students for college. Students/parents/teachers not at all welcoming to students joining in HS. A complaint from one of their benefactor families against a new student and they're presumed guilty.

We were disappointed in the academics offered. Their "talented and gifted program" was good but cost a great deal more to participate in it. Even though our child made straight As every year at LCCS, when they took the standardized tests to see how they ranked against the National average, they only scored in the middle. Very disappointing. Biblical views are not woven into each subject; mostly just chapel. Their "Bible" class was a handout that they read and colored but it was not explained by the teacher. Several students were not good influences and even though the school says a parent must be a Christian, regularly attend church and have a pastor's letter, we know many did not meet this criteria and it reflected in their character. Because of the financial issues the school is having, the school is looking run down and teachers had to take pay cuts. This reflected in their motivation in the classroom. Our children will be attending a different Christian school next year that has a solid reputation of academic excellence and college preparation and integrates a Biblical worldview into each subject. We hope that LCCS will find it's way in these trying times.

Lake Country equips students to excel in academics, athletics, and the arts. The teachers are committed to providing students an exceptional learning environment that fosters academic success in all students. LCCS students attend high-ranking colleges and universities in Texas and throughout the nation. As an alumnus, I can attest to the school's ability to prepare students for college and beyond with high classroom standards and an ever-increasing number of AP courses. Lake Country is a place where your student can succeed.

Exceptional in all areas! From Athletics to Fine Arts to Academics. My child is challenged in every area, and has opportunity to try out everything! He discovered his musical talent because of the band program. He has excelled athletically because he isn't competing with 600 other students, so he actually gets an opportunity to play, all sports... soccer, football, baseball, basketball whatever. Academically, he is testing on levels 4 grades higher than his grade level. Spiritually, he prays regularly, is disciplined with biblical correction and love and encouragement. Public school simply can't compare. As for the price and financial management, this is 2011. The price is well in line with other private schools and offers as much or more. And the finances are managed quite well. If you are expecting tuition to pay for your childs education then you shouldn't look to private schools anywhere. Love LCCS. God is alive and well in that place. Teachers and staff love the students and the mission is regularly reviewed. Can;t say enough good things.

We love LCCS! Our oldest has been at the school for 9 years. The teachers have been wonderful. They have an unbelievable Fine Arts/Athletics facility! LCCS students rank among the best academically....their chess team competes at the national level - how cool! Definitely one of the top private schools in the metroplex!

As parents, it is our duty to equip our children with the tools necessary for them to succeed as Christian adults. LCCS truly partners with us to ensure our kids are mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally ready for their journey. LCCS has blessed us in so many ways. God's Love freely flows from the entire staff as soon as you enter the building.
