My husband and I are so happy with the school we have chosen for our kids. There are so many reasons we chose Lake Country Christian, but most importantly, the school's focus is on guiding our children's education with a Christian emphasis. I love that the class sizes are small. Teachers are really able to focus on individual student needs. One of our kids participate in an optional critical thinking class that is offered in later elementary years where he has been introduced to subjects such as business, robotics, advertising and invention. It is mind-blowing what he has taken away from those courses. I also love our kids participation in chapel on Wednesdays. The kids sing and are truly inspired with Bible scripture. Also, each grade level participates in age appropriate mission trips every year. The students are able to see beyond themselves and really reach out and touch others lives. The teachers are excellent. They truly care! It is awesome to see the progress our kids make each year. Lastly, I would say that Lake Country Christian is a community that welcomes everyone. As a parent, I feel part of the school. I would recommend this school to anyone:).

We moved back to the Eagle Mountain Lake area last year, and took our time in considering the best school for our son. We are happy to say we found the perfect fit at LCCS. The facility and staff are simply amazing. The class sizes are small, this allows more one on one time with the students. The curriculum is somewhat challenging, although this allows the students to preform at a higher level than peers in public schools. I would like to stress how loving and caring the teachers are with the students. They truly care about each and every student. Within two weeks of attending this school, the teachers addressed concerns about my son. He was evaluated and we found that he is Dyslexic. We were fortunate to find this out while my son was young, all to often dyslexia is not diagnosed and bright students fall through the cracks. LCCS is the only school within 40 miles that keeps and Academic Language Therapist on staff. My son has excelled since therapy began. We feel blessed to have found such an amazing school and urge you to consider making an investment in your child's future, by choosing LCCS.

We have experienced elementary, middle and high school at Lake Country. Our oldest child was well prepared for college, our youngest is still at LCCS. The Biblical integration in all subjects sets LCCS apart from other private schools. Leadership skills and community emphasis is reinforced through teams, houses, mission trips, and other programs. On one retreat a camp staff member shared with me of the many schools they hosted it was Lake Country students they looked forward to each year. What a testimony to the character of these students and the examples set by the faculty and staff! We have an outstanding sports and fine arts complex. Other buildings are in need of updates, but if you spend 10 minutes with any teacher you will know without a doubt the heart of this school is what makes it amazing. There are several private schools much closer to our home. What our children have experienced at LCCS is worth every extra mile.

Lake Country Christian School is a wonderful place to be. The staff, students, administration, and parents are all one big family. We have had our children in LCCS for 6 years now. Our oldest is now a senior. I know that she will be well prepared spiritually, socially, academically, and mentally to go to college next year. Lake Country has been a blessing in allowing their students to be in as many activities as they can handle. Both our children are involved in Youth and Government, student council, theater, choir, dance, soccer, mission trips, and also manage to keep their AP classes grades outstanding. They are able to achieve these goals due to the support of our outstanding teachers and staff. These men and women are God loving Christians that lead by example. As with any school, Lake Country is not perfect, but the difference between LCCS and other schools is that problems are dealt with and not ignored. They are dealt with lovingly, but firmly. I whole heartily believe God place our family with LCCS. "For I know the plans I have for you." says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope" Jeremiah 29:11

It has been such a blessing to be a part of the incredible LCCS family for the past 8 years. We have a child in high school and one at a state university. Our oldest was very prepared to meet the demands of his college course load. Lake Country students are able to participate in many more activities than would be acceptable in a public school. It is a 3rd year iPad school and further ahead in technology use than most area schools. The Fine Arts program is well known and the quality of the productions is amazing. The Athletics program is competitive and has an ever growing list of accomplishments. It is evident how much the teachers love the students and will go the extra mile to help, while still holding them accountable. Middle School teams, High School houses, and Biblical integration are all key components of an LCCS education. Many students are involved in the outstanding YMCA Youth and Government program. Students gain experience in speaking and debate, and the school's history on both the district and state levels is impressive. Our children have experience at public schools in one of the area's top districts and we can't imagine being anywhere other than LCCS.

Both of my children have attended LCCS for years. My daughter just graduated May 2014, and feels very prepared for college. Her SAT's and ACT's were extremely high which we both feel is a direct reflection of the incredible teaching staff at the school. My son will be a Sophmore this year and has attended LCCS since kindergarten ....he thrives in all areas. He is encouraged to do and be all that he can. Both kids were able to participate in many various activities that fostered talents, leadership, and the ability to think for themselves. As a family we love the school! From the administration to the teachers to the kids and their families....we have nothing but good to say!

We recently visited LCCS as we're debating about where to enroll our son. Upon pulling up I was surprised at how run down the buildings and grounds looked, the local public school looked nicer. Next was the poor behavior of the middle school boys that no one corrected, I wonder about their influence on the elementary kids walking by. Lastly we were unimpressed with the admin. staff. My son's b-day is 1 day behind the cut-off so we've homeschooled and he's on track with the rest of the kids his age had he been born 12 hours sooner. When asked about placement testing the admin. gal said it didn't matter how they tested he wouldn't place him in his proper class but push him back a year. We walked out then. They obviously aren't concerned with the best interests of their students and their abilities if they won't even take the time to properly evaluate an incoming student.

Our son was in 2nd grade when we realized he needed more than he was getting in his current public school. We researched and found Ft. Worth's "best kept secret" in LCCS. It was a exactly what he needed in terms a full service education with affordable tuition! He rose to meet the academic & behavioral expectations of the outstanding faculty and administration. He participates in award winning Fine Arts and Athletics. Our daughter has now followed suit. We are a part of the LCCS family and have never looked back. Exceptional!

We love LCCS!! It is more than just a place for your child to learn academically. It is a great christian environment with everything to offer. Wonderful athletic program and state of the art Fine Arts department. Wouldn't want my children to be any other place!

LCCS was a wonderful school for our family. I have three children, all adults now that attended and their lives were greatly impacted by LCCS. the alumni of LCCS tell the story...they are doctors, lawyers, missionaries, pastors, accountants, teachers, men and women serving our country in the Armed Forces and Moms and Dads. If I were to choose a school today, I would choose Lake Country Christian School again. Thank you to the Administration and School Board that continue to hold up the standard of the mission statement. To educate, equip and encourage Christian leaders to fulfill their God-given purpose and impact their culture.

LCCS is a wonderful school. Our children have been able to experience so much. They have had the ability to try all types of activities. This has help make them well rounded. They have also been able to experience true support from other students as well as the teachers when life throws you a curve. The academics are excellent. Our oldest child is in her first semester at The University of Texas at Austin and has earned honors in the McCombs business school.

LCCS is a fantastic school! One of my kids started in sixth grade and the other in high school. All I can say is I wish they both started at LCCS in Kindergarten! The Christian Worldview is presented in every subject and kids are nurtured in their Christian walks by the teachers, admin, and fellow students. I can only imagine how strong my kids' faith would be if I had avoided public school in elementary! The academics are very rigorous and prepare students for entrance into excellent universities. The amount of scholarship money won by relatively small graduating classes is staggering! The teachers and staff are loving and nurturing; but also hold students to the standards that my family wants for our own children spiritually, behavioraly and accademically. I am so glad the Holy Spirit brought our family to Lake Country Christian School!

LCCS seems more concerned with pleasing their wealthier families with multiple children who have been with them since pre-K than in preparing students for college. Students/parents/teachers not at all welcoming to students joining in HS. A complaint from one of their benefactor families against a new student and they're presumed guilty.

We were disappointed in the academics offered. Their "talented and gifted program" was good but cost a great deal more to participate in it. Even though our child made straight As every year at LCCS, when they took the standardized tests to see how they ranked against the National average, they only scored in the middle. Very disappointing. Biblical views are not woven into each subject; mostly just chapel. Their "Bible" class was a handout that they read and colored but it was not explained by the teacher. Several students were not good influences and even though the school says a parent must be a Christian, regularly attend church and have a pastor's letter, we know many did not meet this criteria and it reflected in their character. Because of the financial issues the school is having, the school is looking run down and teachers had to take pay cuts. This reflected in their motivation in the classroom. Our children will be attending a different Christian school next year that has a solid reputation of academic excellence and college preparation and integrates a Biblical worldview into each subject. We hope that LCCS will find it's way in these trying times.

Lake Country equips students to excel in academics, athletics, and the arts. The teachers are committed to providing students an exceptional learning environment that fosters academic success in all students. LCCS students attend high-ranking colleges and universities in Texas and throughout the nation. As an alumnus, I can attest to the school's ability to prepare students for college and beyond with high classroom standards and an ever-increasing number of AP courses. Lake Country is a place where your student can succeed.

Exceptional in all areas! From Athletics to Fine Arts to Academics. My child is challenged in every area, and has opportunity to try out everything! He discovered his musical talent because of the band program. He has excelled athletically because he isn't competing with 600 other students, so he actually gets an opportunity to play, all sports... soccer, football, baseball, basketball whatever. Academically, he is testing on levels 4 grades higher than his grade level. Spiritually, he prays regularly, is disciplined with biblical correction and love and encouragement. Public school simply can't compare. As for the price and financial management, this is 2011. The price is well in line with other private schools and offers as much or more. And the finances are managed quite well. If you are expecting tuition to pay for your childs education then you shouldn't look to private schools anywhere. Love LCCS. God is alive and well in that place. Teachers and staff love the students and the mission is regularly reviewed. Can;t say enough good things.

We love LCCS! Our oldest has been at the school for 9 years. The teachers have been wonderful. They have an unbelievable Fine Arts/Athletics facility! LCCS students rank among the best academically....their chess team competes at the national level - how cool! Definitely one of the top private schools in the metroplex!

As parents, it is our duty to equip our children with the tools necessary for them to succeed as Christian adults. LCCS truly partners with us to ensure our kids are mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally ready for their journey. LCCS has blessed us in so many ways. God's Love freely flows from the entire staff as soon as you enter the building.

As a recent alumnus of the school, I can attest to the quality of the education. I was more than adequately prepared for the top-tier university I now attend. The leadership is great; they understand that discipline is necessary, but they do know how to have fun. The amount and level of AP courses offered is more than adequate; most of my class received a significant amount of credit, getting a head start education-wise. The arts department, all things considered, is good, creating the sort of environment that allows students to excel in any number of things. I know of students who were in a band, played football, and performed in theatre, all while maintaining an excellent GPA. One last note: the great student-teacher ratio allows students to communicate and discuss openly with the teachers, something that is necessary to a proper education.

I graduated from Lake Country in the Spring of 2009. The school prepared me for the rigorous college load that I have now. The AP Courses offered provide the necessary course loads and great instruction by teachers who are passionate about education. The classes are geared toward the AP Exams, thus preparing students along the way for the test that is to come. Both of my AP courses transferred into college credit which saved me both time and money. The class counts are low, the teachers are accessible for extra help, and the social atmosphere is great. Though the school is limited in athletics offered some seasons, the academics are worth it.

I attended LCCS from 4th grade through graduation in 2001. The main weakness of the school was the academic program. The instructors of some of the classes did not have adequate knowledge of the subjects and were not able to answer questions outside of the textbook. Even worse was the lack of competition from my classmates. Very little was demanded of them, so they did not take their coursework seriously. This became very apparent to me during my first year at a competitive university. Several of my classmates at LCCS dropped out of college or attended community colleges. The student population could have benefited from comprehensive reproductive education. About a year after graduation, a significant proportion of my female classmates had had unplanned pregnancies. This is what happens when your school only teaches you that birth control does not work. It failed them when they encountered the real world.

This school is wonderful! My oldest has attended for 11 years. In addition, I have 2 middle school age children who have been there 8+ years. I am convinced this is the best Middle School program you'll ever find. The school leadership has created an innovative way to integrate 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students into teams that work together throughout the school year. The 6th graders quickly become friends with 8th graders (almost unheard of!!!). They are accepted and encouraged as they meet together in chapel each week, in the lunch room and on special community service projects throughout the school year. The 8th graders are recognized by all as the leaders of their teams. They get immediate respect and are challenged to live up to their leadership roles. This gives many children who are not natural born leaders a chance to develop their own leadership style.

Not worth the tuition. The "gifted" program is additional money and almost everyone is accepted. The multi child discount is very small, so the total cost of LCCS is higher than most area schools if you have more than one child. My kids are bored here. We are staying because they have made great friends, but I wish we had started somewhere else.

I only had 1 child at this school last year, and its definitly not worth the money. Very disappointed how the money was managed. You can walk inside & out and see how dated everything is. Academically this school did not impress me or teach my child the way I thought a private school would & should. It seemed more like he was memorizing more than really learning and studying about a subject. Also they didnt have a lunchroom that served hot lunches?!?! Every child had to bring a lunch or have an option to be served from a fastfood chain. I believe Eagle Mountain Saginaw & Northwest ISD have great schools for any child to attend. I myself have 3 children and am very excited that my 2 oldest attend Northwest .I have friends at both these districts and hear wonderful positive comments.

I am a proud alumni of LCCS and current parent of an LCCS student. I cannot recommend the school enough to my friends and family. I am excited to see how the academic standards have continued to increase. On the elementary level, great strides have been taken to increase and expand the mathematics and reading programs. On the secondary level, the number of Pre-AP and AP courses (as well as their success rate at earning college credit) rivals other more well-known (and expensive) private schools in the Fort Worth area. I am also thankful for the spiritual background and lessons I learned at LCCS. The teachers Biblically-integrate each course and each lesson. All students learn how to approach life with a Biblical worldview. The school is excellently run, and worth every penny of the tuition (which is still very reasonable considering the quality of services provided by the school.)

Horribly managed financially. Lots of good teachers and staff who are in great need of administrative leaders who are not only compassionate Christians but who also have some business and school administrative sense. Very charismatic in their demonstration of faith however, it could be a great school if it was not so mismanaged.

Not happy with the leadership of this school. How about just finishing one thing you start (the gym, football field, etc.). I do not trust the direction of the school board. I feel there is a spirit of poverty over this school. If things do not change quickly, this will be the last year for my two sons to attend.

My son has been attending Lake Country since kindergarten and we are so blessed by this school. For the first two years we drove over 60 miles round trip each day and then we decided to move closer! The teachers truly care for the students here, and the children absolutely get the attention they need in the classroom, academically. There are advanced and honors programs and the academics are above the national average (test scores). The children are challenged to THINK and use their God given talents to glorify HIM. The school's fine arts program is top notch and the athletics program is absolutely great! Especially with the new addition of FOOTBALL! There are plenty of extra curricular activities and opportunities for your children right from the start. The Lord is definitely among the halls of Lake Country Christian School and I couldn't be prouder to send my son there!

I compared the acedemic work brought home by my son at lake country and a neighbor whose kid attends eagle mountain elementary. I found LCCS to behind acedemically and not very challenging. The christian teachings seem to be more charismatic than non-denominational. I would attend the church at least 4 times before sending your kids there. The field day looked like they put it together at the last minute with no budget. I was very disappointed and it doesnt seem worth the money.

I am pleased with the academic programs at LCCS. The school offers many AP classes in high school and Pre-AP classes in the middle school. Most of the middle and high school teachers have had AP training so that they can incorporate higher-level thinking skills into their classes. The fine arts program is phenomenal. All students, K-12 present musicals on their appropriate level, with the high school presenting a Broadway musical. Private lessons in the fine arts are available throughout the school day to enhance the program. Lake Country is adding a football program in 2005-2006 and currently has basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball, track and cross-country. The girls' basketball team has won state the last two years. Parents are highly involved in all grade levels and are encouraged by the administration and staff to be so. I have been involved with LCCS for 16 years and find it to be the best.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the academic program (especially the zero for late work policy imposed upon the middle school children w/o regard for their self-esteem and/or consideration of their parents opposition to that illogical policy) which was abruptly decided upon by the 'key officials'-whomever they may be. I have also found that the teachers that I've encountered this year were just 'thrown' into a position w/o much, if any wisdom or knowledge of the subject that they were to 'teach' the children. I certainly didn't find this school worthy of the cost to attend. But then, I guess that's why they have implemented a 'No REFUND' policy as well; in case one decided he really wanted to withdraw.

Excellent! 25 year history; newer athletics emphasis with bldgs and staff; many men in coaching & teaching (great for my 10th & 8th grade boys as a single mom); middle/high school is safe (physically, spiritually) and supportive. Fine Arts is unparalleled in DFW! Elementary years were outstanding (six years at LCCS, homeschool/otherschooled three years, now we're so pleased to be back.) What a difference between Christian schools! LCCS is a happy, loving environment where the bar is set high and kids live up to the expectations of their teachers, their parents and their Lord! Academically solid, accommodating without compromising. International mission trips, divided classes for smaller class sizes, and praying teachers and staff make Lake Country Christian School the best kept secret in northwest Tarrant County! Families travel from all points to attend LCCS and with good reason. Five-star and then some!

As parents, it is our duty to provide our children with the tools they need to grow into productive, happy, well-adjusted adults. LCCS has been such a blessing in assisting us in this endeavor. We personally couldn't be any happier with the personal attention these teachers place on our two girls (4th & 9th Gr.). Not only do they drill these kids with the education they need for their future, but they place high importance on values to make these youth hunger to make a difference in the world, in the name of Jesus. Special accolades to Mrs. Cowan, High School Counselor; she truly loves these kids. Four thumbs up!

My Wife and I decided to send our kids to a wonderful school, after great deal of serching, The administator is a wonderful person and well qualified. infact she got the Admin. of the year in the DFW area last year, this school sure know how to prepare the students for college more than any school I know of. they assign alot of homework, they decipline the student to the max, the PTA is wonderful, their girls basketball team won the state championship last year. Our kids are now in Middle School and they have been in this school since the beginning. When I see the fruits in my kids that was planted by their teachers I am so proud to say LAKE COUNTRY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL is deserving of the highest honor, we certainly recommend it to anybody who desires the best education for their kids.

I have 2 kids who are attending lake country Christian School Since Kindergarten, they are in 6th and 8th grade now. this school provides an atmosphere to student that will anable them to go to college completely prepared, they do that by giving them alot of homework and good displine. The principle is such an outstanding person who hires only well qualified teachers, and does not compromise in doing what is right for both the school and students. thier sports program however needs alot of improvement. I have seen quiet a few students who graduated from this school excell very well in college and are strong leaders in thier communities. I would certainly recommend this school to any parents who wants the best for their children and the future of our country.
